LONA

Well after memorizing that guy's face we followed him back to a police station and turns out he's the deputy sheriff, and a shitty one at that too. I wonder who's the real sheriff though. When we entered the station everyone was busy typing and what not and honestly computers really ain't my thing but Lola's. We went to one lady who seemed okay and asked to see the sheriff.

"He's busy" she bluntly said. Another unlaid woman, I know there's a decrease of men in our world but geez do you really have to pour out your frustrations on us.

"We'll say this again and the last time , we want to see the sheriff" my sister and i said coldly, now pissed. PISSED OFF twins ain't the brightest choice to mess with. She flinched at our tone as the whole station now went silent. She smirked and a smug look went across her face as she looked behind us. When we did we were met by a stomach, weird so we looked up and up and up until we saw a pissed off face that immediately turned into shock. The guy had the same eye colour as mine minus the grey  and mostly a stormy blue, he wore casual clothing that hugged he's muscles pretty well and looked to be about 6.6 in height. His hair was a raven black, strong jaw and has well shaped eyes and a very muscular body. In other cases, another god. What's up with meeting gods today, has the end of the world finally arrived.

"What can I do for you beautifuls?" He asked his demeanor now soft. I couldn't help but feel safe around him, like he would do anything for me to keep me and my sister safe. I felt a thumb brush against my cheek but when I saw it was the officer, I was shocked I didn't flinch I looked to see Lola but she had her head buried in the officer's shoulder and she looked like she was crying whilst he's other hand held her securely close. I was shocked she initiated the physical contact especially with a man because she had never unless with someone she trusts, so I guess this stranger, so I was given the green light that I can also break and that's what I did. I went onto the officer's shoulder and cried. I let myself get vulnerable infront of a stranger I felt so safe in and actually let him carry my sister and I as we cried. We were waiting for ourselves to break but I did not know it was this soon. He cooed at us as we began crying harder for all those years of abuse, envy that we did not have a loving home hurt from all those kicks, cuts, rape and strikes. We were now just tired and if the stranger would kill us then at least we lived a bit longer and we wouldn't die alone but with each other.

"Get the car ready, we are going to my house" the stranger said. He carried us outside as he buckled us in when he let us go, we started crying wanting him to carry us again. So we made grabby hands at him. I know, a bit to much? It's just it felt so right being in his arms and it felt so good he almost felt like .....home we have never been shown that kind of intimacy so having it in our grasp a bit longer is what we just wanted. He looked at us then sighed and started walking away so we cried harder. Didn't he want us anymore? He was back a bit later then he put us on his lap as we laid our heads on his chest, only our soft whimpers were left.we felt a soft fabric being put on top of us and saw it was a blanket.

"Are you hungry, cariños" the stranger asked. Lola looked at me for confirmation if she could answer for us. I slowly nodded yes because he was a police officer.

"We are" her voice came out raspy and vulnerable and smaller than I have ever heard. It took me by surprise a bit." Okay cariños, once we arrive at home I'll whip up something delicious for you, I promise" he cooed slowly then put kisses on top of our heads. I couldn't here more so I closed my eyes and slept after I saw Lola doing the same thing. We held our hands then slept.
