Edmund 'Eddy' Daniel and Roselyn 'Rose' Eileen Potter are the children of Hermione and Harry. As they crossed the magical street, a lunatic terrorist suddenly appears out of nowhere, struck them, and killed them. A horrible tragedy left their ten-year-old son with a long scar on his chest, and their eight-year-old daughter in a magical coma for six months.

They were taken in by Hermione's best friend, godmother, Avery Weldor. Their maternal grandparents, Daniel and Eileen Granger, were killed by the terrorist during their mother's third year at Hogwarts. Meanwhile, they didn't know anything about their paternal grandparents because their father wouldn't tell them.

Edmund goes to Snakebinder Academy where his parents studied. There are four houses: the Fitzroy River Turtle (Yellow Shell), the Emu (Blue Claw), the Freshwater Crocodile (Green Jaw), and the Tasmanian Devil (Red Snout).

His mum was a Blue Claw, and his dad was a Red Snout. Unlike Hogwarts, the four houses are quite harmonious except for Quidditch competitions. Edmund is a Red Snout just like his father.

One day, Edmund celebrated his 12th birthday with his little sister Roselyn, his friends, his friend's family, his Godmother Avery, and Avery's little girls, Grace and Olivia. The party was interrupted when they heard a loud knock on the door. Upon opening the door, Avery saw eight people standing on the porch.

Avery was well-versed in the wizarding world, as she was a subscriber of The Wizarding World News. Therefore, she could recognize Albus Dumbledore, Charles Potter, James Potter, Lily Potter, and Sirius Black. However, she was unaware of Minerva McGonagall, Remus Lupin, and Severus Snape, as they had not been featured in the publication.

Albus asked Avery if she could let them in, but she refused outright. What's their reason for coming here? She demanded an explanation. Albus then resigned to explain why to Avery. Apparently, Voldemort and his army have terrorized Britain for decades and Harry is a real chosen one, so Albus needs his help to defeat him.

When Edmund and Roselyn overheard the conversation, they were filled with rage. They had been living with the pain and trauma of their parents' deaths for two long years, and now Albus had the audacity to suggest that their father was still alive.

Angry, Edmund stormed into the foyer and yelled at Albus: "How dare you act like my dad's still here!"

Roselyn joined her brother and glared at Albus. "Mummy and Daddy were killed by that maniac monster two years ago!" Roselyn's voice trembled with anger as she shouted, "You have no right to talk about him like that!"

Avery stopped Edmund and Roselyn by placing her hands on their heads. She notes the horror expression on the eight people and notices other neighbors curiously looking in. So she has no choice but to let them in. Avery leads the uninvited guests through the crowd to the couch in the living room.

When Avery pulls her vexed godchildren to her side, she introduces them to the guests: "This is Edmund Potter, he's twelve. This is Roselyn Potter, she's ten. They are Harry and Hermione's. Yes, your grandchildren." Avery glanced at James and Lily, as she finished the sentence.

Edmund and Roselyn perked up at this new revelation.

"What?!" Charles Potter jolted his head to staring at the children—his nephew and niece—his youngest brother's kids. "...Did you just said Hermione? Hermione Granger?"

"Yes."

"C-Charles?" Lily stammered, thinking that she is unaware that she is a grandmother all this time...She didn't get a chance to watch her grandchildren crawling around as babies...

D-Didn't the kids say her youngest son is dead?

...No, no...My baby cannot be dead!

Lily Potter is in a denial of state.

"Mum, remember I had told you about Hermione Granger left Hogwarts in middle of her third year after her parents were killed by a Death Eater? She was a famous Brightest Witch of Her Age and it had mentioned in the Daily Prophet," Charles then thought with a shocked expression which caught the attention of the uninvited guests.

"What's wrong, Charles?" James asked wearily—not after he just found out that his youngest son Harry is gone and not to mention it has been two years since.

"I don't remember Harry is at Hogwarts...I think he was never been there."

"What?" Minerva and Albus uttered shockingly as if they realized something missing.

Severus Snape who is staying quiet finally spoke up: "Professor McGonagall, remember you fork out a task on me to handle the letters of the new students since you're very busying with your duties as a Deputy? If you thought about it...Then you're correct..." Snape then sneered gleefully towards the Potter family. "I got a letter from Harry Potter has rejected his acceptation of Hogwarts...Harry Potter was actually offering to study at several outstanding magical schools another than the 'subpar' Hogwash as Harry Potter remarked."

Lily and James froze at this new revelation that Harry was a first British man has been invited by other schools from the magical backwards Britain.

"Subpar Hogwash?" Charles asked confusingly.

Snape sneered contemptuously towards the good-for-nothing idiot. "Why don't you ask Headmaster Dumbledore?" With that, he looked away from the pathetic Potter family to the wall behind Avery and her godchildren.

All of them turned their attention onto Dumbledore who is embarrassed and recoiled from Harry Potter's comment of Hogwarts is merely a subpar hogwash.

Avery chuckled at Dumbledore's expression, said: "Its useless to ask Mister Dumbledore. Since you're curious why your school is being called a subpar hogwash. You can ask your beloved country why they denied you your international standard education, which by the way, is widely recognized in the magical world for many decades. Well, excluded your country. Hogwarts is a far below than average level in the international education system. Even if you and your classmates came to other countries to apply for higher jobs. They will find you an insufficient laughingstock joke because your education is an elementary level." Revealed Avery with a cruel smile at the guests.

Edmund and Rose who listened and glanced at each other before turn back to the guests. Edmund was a bit curious about their education since Aunt Avery mentioned it is only an elementary level. So he went ahead to question their education to see the differences.
