In June 2000 Harry and Lucy are still dating. It has been more than six months since they started going out. Harry bought the chocolate strawberry cake and the raspberry champagne which are Lucy's favorites. He is excited to surprise her at the Pevenise residence(she didn't live in the dormitory). He still didn't know why Lucy finally accepted a date with him. Seeing as how he pursued her throughout college for a year ever since he was firsthand beaten by the sexy woman named Lucy Pevenise in a soccer challenge.
Harry is incredibly talented in a variety of sports. In another word, he is a natural athlete.
He could concede it was love at first sight since she is breathtakingly beautiful. However, it's more than that. It's her character; she is deeply kind, inquisitive, brave, and open. She tends to protect vulnerable people and kicks others' butts for being a bastard. She is incredibly intelligent in both street and book smarts. She is always a top student in every subject. She is very loyal to her friends and family. Because of it, he can't help but fall more deeply in love with her every day. True, she may be flawed. Nobody is perfect—he is aware of that. But he loves her nonetheless.
He arrived at the small manor in his red car. He got out with cake and champagne before he started to walk to the front door. He pressed the button with an elbow. The muffled voice of "coming" was followed by quick footsteps. The door yanked open to reveal the older woman with red lipstick. It's Susan Pevenise(she is married and kept her surname but she often visits her family). She was surprised to see him. She then smirks with a wink before shouting for Lucy.
Another muffled voice of "who is it, Suzy" followed by light footsteps before Lucy comes around the corner of the hallway, only to stop and look surprised to see her boyfriend standing on the threshold with a cake and champagne.
"Happy anniversary, Lu." He said with a goofy smile. He raises a cake and champagne at the level of the shoulders in his hands. "Wanna celebrate with me?"
Lucy giggled with a bright smile, walking toward him to kiss him on the lips—"God, I love you, idiot." She then pulled him into the manor by the hand that holds the champagne. As Susan shuts the door behind them. "Suzy, tell them we're going to my room. We'll be not down until dinner. Let's go, Har."
They went upstairs.

On July 31 2000 Harry muses while embracing the love of his life sleeping on his bare chest in the bed. He recalled the last month ago when he asked her why she accepted his date. Lucy was surprised and blushed madly. Then she confessed she'd been in love with him also. No, it is not because of his wooing. It is because she saw him beat the big man to a pulp who is very arrogant because of his so-called backup. Then he frankly told the big man that the so-called backup is himself—and he is his friend Pop's. Then he warned him not to mess with his friend Pop and stop to calling him just to prove to everyone that he is his so-called backup. Apparently, he was very pissed at the fact he(big man) knows his number which he stole from Pop.
In reality, Poppy is not a gangster. He is a timidly shy boy who is around 15 years old—Three years younger than Harry. Pop is his Junior who he takes care of while he was still in high school.
Plus, Lucy knew Poppy because he is a waiter at her favorite cafe where she is a regular customer there.
Purely coincidence. Right?
You can say that Pop is basically a bridge between Harry and Lucy.
She admitted she did watch him when he wasn't paying attention to her. But then, she overhears Harry's teammates talk about having introduced him to a different girl since Lucy always turns him down. When she hears the very name she despises: Rebecca Krueger. She is the one who continues to sully her. Even she destroyed her storage flash containing her project—well, once(she now very protective of her own things ever since). She also knew she had a crush on Harry. So she didn't give that two-faced bitch a chance to have him.
He then looks down at the sleeping woman who is nude on his chest. Her chestnut hair fell onto her lovely face which is flush due to their lovemaking a hour ago. He smiles and kisses her on the forehead.
Well...again...he ought to thank his teammates, Pop, and Rebecca Krueger.
