Plot 16

「Afterlife 」

Hermione and Harry scrawled, lying face down, on the grass, next to each other in front of the Hogwarts entrance. They stared dead at nowhere, holding hand in hand. On the other hand, they gripped their wand. Ron and Ginny keened over the cold body of their long-time crush.

Unknown to them, on the other side of the world, the man and woman play with the three days old baby with a thick mop of dark brown hair and milk chocolate eyes. A man and woman are Hermione's parents who recently recovered from an oblivation by a Magical Australian healer.

Harry and Hermione gave their son to her parents as soon as Jamel's birth on April 30. They also enclosed their letters within Jamel's owl plushy, then they contacted with magical Australian minister to pick up their son to give to Janet and Daniel.

Hermione and Harry were lucky to survive but got killed by a traitor among the Light members.

Hermione and Harry watching over their one-and-a-half-year-old son wore the lion raincoat and toddled around with a little laughter. Grandfather jogged after his grandson, with his camcorder. Grandmother let out a chuckle when she saw her favourite grandson jump onto the puddle and it splashed onto Daniel's denim jeans.

Grandpa made a faux indignant gasping.

Lily and James smile softly at their grandson's antics when Jamel decided it was a good idea to splash grandpa with a puddle.

Remus didn't die in the battle of Hogwarts—he howled in grief when he realized he lost his entire pack: Lily, James, Sirius, Harry, and finally Hermione.

To the stupid war.

Jamel grows up listening to the stories of his parents. He loves the particular story about his father saving his mother from a troll. Jamel disliked Ronald Weasley, especially how he acts around his parents. He doesn't get how his parents able to tolerate him.
