I woke up the next morning to the moon still shining lowly. I made my way to my closet, I decided that today I would explore the woods a little further. I changed into my black trousers and a purple long sleeve shirt. I also put on my black corset type thing. I looked for my knee length boots, they always make me look badass. I have always dressed myself, I never had a maid in my entire life. I don't really like people seeing me naked. It just never really worked for me. Plus, I had a mark in-between my boobs. It was a ink mark of a water lilly and a unalome simbal. I got it when I went outside middle-earth. The people understood my request. I braided my hair into two duch braids one on each side of my head and it ran into a ponytail.
I went out to breakfast and greeted everyone. I sat down, the maids brought out my food. It was waffles with syrup and berries. "Where are you going Tanya?" Thranduil asked "I'm going to Laketown. It's a day's ride and they are in need. I'll be gone for about four days. Do not threat I'll be here two days before the wedding." I lied about Laketown. I was actually just going to go explore the woods and camp out for a bit. I was never allowed to go to my mother's kingdom, they never believed that I was my mother child. I also didn't understand why I was the heir to Rivendell and not Arwen.
We sat in silence for a minute or two when my father spoke "Take Legolas with you. I'm sure that he can also help here and there" I sighed and nodded. "Very well. Come meet me out front. Make haste, Laketown need's help urgently." Lies, lies, lies. That all that went through my head. I finished my food and left to go saddle up Wonder and Sparten. I went to the kitchen and got some Lembas bread as well as berries, apples, water, proper food and the most important thing. I had to sneak this out, the maids will talk amongst themselves. And my mother would find out. I took three bottles of red wine, a barrel of Ale and some old and really aged whiskey.
I took it to Wonder and put everything in the saddle bags. I didn't like lying to my mother but for time alone it was necessary. I climbed on Wonder and waited for Legolas. Sparten was a good horse, fast. He was mine before I got Wonder. A thing to know about me is that wherever I go, Wonder goes. I never leave him behind unless I really need to.
I saw Legolas come out with his bow and quiver full of arrows on one shoulder. On the other one was his saddle bags. He looked all serious, god I did not bring enough alcohol for this. I smiled "Come on. You have Sparten. Let's go." I rushed him on. I handed him the reins of Sparten, I had to bend down because Wonder was taller than Sparten. He saddled his bags and off we went. Sparten was a dotted grey. He was a thorough breed. He stood sixteen hands high. Wonder stood nineteen point three hands high. Of course Wonder was faster than Sparten. I galloped and looked back to see Legolas a few meters behind me. I stopped and waited for him to slow down.
"We aren't going to Laketown, we are actually going to explore the woods. I know of a place where we can make camp. It's about an hour's ride from here. We can walk seeing as Wonder is faster than Sparten." I smiled and kicked Wonder lightly to urge him on. Sparten was next to me and we rode in silence. "So, how many children do you want?" I broke the silence. Legolas scoffed "Oh please. We are getting married in six days. I should know what to expect" I sassed him. One thing about me is I'm very sarcastic.
"I want only whaylt you want meril" He answered. "That's a bullshit answer, and you know it. What if I said I want... sixteen children, hmm? Would you still go with it?" I joked "God, no I think I only want three or four" he actually answered with a proper answer. "Very well. Three or four you shall have." I said. "How far still?" Legolas moaned "About fifty minutes" I said. Legolas scoffed like a child. I never knew this side of him. I always thought he was prim and proper, apparently I was wrong.
"So, what ever are we gonna do for the next four days?" Legolas asked me. "Well I am going to be drinking and you are gonna stand watch, because I don't want to share" I explained my plans "Wow, my future wife. I wonder how the kids will be?" Legolas joked about our marriage. I really wanted to stop and stare at the northern part of the city but I couldn't. "I'm sorry you have to marry me. I mean I'm definitely not marriage meterial. I like adventures and staying busy. I don't even know how to stay out of trouble myself, how will I teach our children that?" I will admit that I was definitely doubting myself. "We'll figure that out MERIL but for now. Let's find this camp site. I'm hungry" he moaned like a child.
We got there and it was nice and secluded from the rest of the kingdom. I knew I wasn't out of my mother's eye, but, it was fine. There was a beautiful lake nearby. I looked around for my tree. When I was younger I built a treehouse. I made to escape the harsh eye and mouth of society. I looked up and saw it was still there. I built the house in an oak tree. It was huge. There was three bedroom and a bathroom. There was a kitchen as well as a seating area. "Where are the tents" Legolas asked. "We don't need tents. Look up" I smiled and he looked up to the treehous. He was in awe of it. "Come, come let's get inside. The horses go in the paddock over there. And yes I built this with my own two hands." I answered his question and went up the ladder that hanged on the edge.
