Unexpected// Legolas

Dramatic Outfit Change

We got to our table, me and Legolas were still holding hands. Legolas was in charge of the venue and it was beautiful. It had tables with white lillies everywhere. I smiled when I saw the dance floor. Everyone one took their seats and I sat on my side of the table and Legolas sat on his side. By my side was my father than my mother. On his side was King Thranduil and Lord Elrond. I snickered when I saw them together. "What's so funny love?" Legolas asked. I was laughing so hard. "Come here" I said and he leaned in. "With Thranduil and Elrond next to eachother they look like a couple" Legolas looked to his side then he got a horrified look. I laughed even harder when I saw his face. He started laughing but he was trying to hide it. "I see it now" he said now laughing as hard as I am. "What are you two laughing about?" Thranduil asked us again. "You won't understand, it concerns us" I said and held onto Legolas's arm. I looked up at him he was still laughing bit he tried to hide it behind a serious face. "Love, don't hide your laugh, especially not from me" I said and he looked down to where I was holding onto him. He placed his hand on my thigh and held it. I was still holding his arm.

I saw that the dwarfs were also here. Gimli son of Glóin sat across from me. Aragon and Arwen were to his right and Glóin on his left. I looked to the table left of me and only to see Thorin Oakensheild's entire company there. I was surprised because I didn't tell Legolas about my adventures with them. It made me sad not to see Thorin, Kili and Fili with them. A few of the others were also dead. The only ones still alive were Glóin, Bifur, Dwalin, Bofur, Bombur, Nori and Dori.

Me and Kili were best friends, we did everything together. I once thought I was in love with him but I figured out it was merely a chrush. "How did you know?" I aske him and I was waving to them slightly. "Gandalf and Bilbo" he answered me. "Bilbo's here?" My head was spinning as I looked for the hobbit. "Yes, but he'll come later on" Legolas said and calmed me.

We had champagne and food. All my favourites were served. I saw there was salad with avo in. "You remembered" i looked at Legolas suprised "Nobody ever rembers it!" I stated and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Thranduil looked at us amazed. I looked around and I saw everyone had food and was waiting and looking at me to say the words. "I don't know why you are looking at me. Dig in, eat" I said, "That's not very princess-ish." Thranduil said and I looked at him. "At least the people like me" I said and started eatin before he could say anything, Legolas choked on his wine. Once everyone finish their appetizers I waited fifteen minutes before signaling for the main dish. Yet I was absolutely dumbfounded when I saw it was buck stew. I looked at him and he smiled gleamly. Once the last plate was served all of us started eating. I finished before the rest and waited for Legolas to finish. Once he was done I leaned my head against him. The dwarfs looked happy that meat was served. I was not like other elves, I wasn't even an elf.

I asked Legolas what was next on the agenda and he said dancing. I got excited because I loved dancing. "So tell me, my love, are you any good at dancing?" He asked me. "Well, considering that I had to take dancing lessons I think I'm pretty good" I said "Can I have this dance?" He asked me, I shook my head, "Oh no sorry love. I need to go make a very dramatic outfit change, into something you and my mother will love but Thranduil, Elrond and my father will hate!" I whisper yelled at him. I looked back and I left quietly.

I walked to my dressing room and saw a white dress standing there. I don't know why I didn't just get married in this dress. It was white with a slit on my left leg, the slit went all the way up to my hip and it had an open back. The dress had not sleeves but it had a high neck line and was kinda open on the sides. I kept my hair loose and wild. I changed my circlet to the same one Legolas has. I smiled at my reflection in the mirror. I stood around a tree. I wanted Legolas to see me first. I looked down and saw a few pebbles at my feet. I picked on up and flicked it to Legolas's arm. Of course he felt it instantly, he looked over his shoulder and saw me. I mouthed "Come here" and he excused himself and came to me. I hid behind the tree "Close your eyes" I said "Their closed" he said. I looked at him to see if they were really closed and, to my surprise he actually listened and closed them. I grabbed his arm and brought him behind the tree also.
