There's whispered winds inside her
Places left unseen
A world of broken colors mixed up
In her dreams
There's music in her footsteps
It carries down the hall
Mountains inside her chest
Where she tries to hold it all
There's secrets that she knows
She needs to keep
And there's tears inside her laughter
Sadness when she sleeps
There's a world left undiscovered
No one had a map
And sometimes the truth to it
Feels just like a trap
She wants the quiet calm
The wide open space
And to feel like she belongs
In this time and this place
She was never one for small talk
Or pointless connections
Searching for depth and hope
Loyalty in affections
She dreams with eyes
That are always wide open
And she feels the world so heavy
When she's holding it inside
