I wanna look back on life
& say I actually did something
that somewhere along the way
I inspired someone, I made someone
realize how much greater they could be
because really people don't give themselves
enough credit
and we are so much bigger than our bodies
we have souls that are larger than life
and not everyone can grasp that
I wanna say I have loved people
throughout life
and that somehow that has changed them
just as friends I've known have changed me
and I'm so grateful for that
for lessons, for compassion
for people who are unapologetically
just being who they are
these people have helped shaped me
taught me things, showed me how to grow
and I hope that someday I can look back
and feel like I did the same
