He took a piece of me i can never retract or gain back. This had me questioning all hope, if we are puzzles the final and astoundingly significant piece to my existence was stolen by a boy who painted half my colors. I did not know what to do with the empty hole within my picture.
Nothing ever fit, it gaped and would it have mocked me i might have fought back but it enveloped me in an embrace so sweet and intense that i allowed an acceptance in my soul to hold it and weep my sorrow.
Had i known the embrace was sly misery i could have stood but her need for a companion held me still.
Having no love to hold me strong i loved the sly misery who introduced me to the abusee depression and her yang anxiety.

After many sleepless nights and red showers i walked into a garden of light where i met you. Our story began much later but it was that meadow that i saw the first glance of your existence.
Although their light could not completely expel my toxic companions they began the process to which I disentangled myself from their clutch.
For the first time since my piece was stolen i felt whole. Every beautiful being had a color shade and fragment i could be gifted to fill the void inside me. I found safety and warmth in their presence. Truly a present.
Yet even in my paradise there was darkness my own personal snake, although i was not the one being tempted but was the forbidden fruit.
