Alyna looked at the looming figure in their shared bedchambers. "I am late?" She asked, as she pushed her earrings to her ears. Her dress was that of a deep rouge red, with rubies of course. "Of course, I am. Why am I asking?" She rolled her eyes.

He was silent for a moment. "Yes." He said softly, looking down at the ground. "You are. My love." He said with no more words. He could no longer speak, and remained silent. He simply just looked into her eyes, and the only thing he could think of right now to do, was to be strong for her.

"Did your mother sent for me?" Alyna asked as she stood, walking near Aemond. "Or.. did Daemon ask?" Knowing that Aemond still despised Daemon.

His words and face turned cold once more, the mention of his name had returned his anger once more. "Your step-father asked for you, my love." He said, his voice as cold as ice.

This man, Daemon, had caused him so much agony and pain already. He would not let that happen again. The man would die in flame for all he cared now, him and all his brothers, and all his sons, and all his daughters. None of his line would survive into the next generation except the dragons. Aemond was sure of it.

"Have you noticed anything.. different?" Alyna asked, as she looked at Aemond's eyes. It was that of her bare neck, her necklace that Aemond had gifted her, was gone. "I'd thought we would look good, in red."

His eyes went to her neck, and he noticed the distinct feeling of a void on it. His eyes met hers once once again, as he let out a sigh of defeat. He did not want to think about it, but he was curious.
