Chapter 17 (Confess, Zone and Yosen)

"I-i like you! P-please go out with me, Kuroko Aoyuki-san!"

The sound of someone confessing echoed around the rooftop. It was lunch break and a brown haired boy with black eyes asked our certain black haired heroine to the rooftop. Of course, being protective, Kagami and Kuroko followed.

So all in all, there's only 4 people at the rooftop. Kagami, Kuroko, the boy who confessed and Aoyuki.

Silence took over as the boy looked up. Only to meet Kagami's frightening glare and Kuroko's narrowed eyes. The boy tensed and looked at Aoyuki whose smiled turned into an apologetic one.

"I'm sorry, Tsubaki Yato-san..I'm afraid I'm still banned from having a boyfriend," Aoyuki said, sheepishly.

"I-it's okay, Kuroko-san!"The boy said as he turned around. Aoyuki grabbed his wrist before he can take a step forward. "Wait."

The boy turned to Aoyuki and she kissed him on the cheeks making the boy blush furiously.

"You can go now," Aoyuki said, smiling warmly. The boy nodded as he stumbled to go out of the door.

Once the boy got out, Kagami and Kuroko sighed.

"What's wrong with you, Yuki? Why are you being confessed to?" Kagami sighed again.

"You can't say that to Ao-chan, Kagami-kun. It's not her fault to be beautiful," Kuroko said.

What is Kagami talking about? Well, Aoyuki's being confessed to this whole week. Of course, Kuroko, being a protecive cousin, he's following Aoyuki. And Kagami, being a jealous (Kagami: I'M NOT JEALOUS! Author: URUSAI, BAKAGAMI!) friend, he followed Kuroko to scare the boys who are confessing to Aoyuki.

"Maa~ Let's just eat in peace, boys," Aoyuki said, as she sat down with her bento on her lap. The two boys looked at each other and sat down on both sides of her.

"Ne, Ao-chan.." Kuroko trailed. Aoyuki snapped her head towards him. "What is it, Tet-chan?"

"I've been wondering these past few days...can you enter the Zone?" Kuroko asked.

"Hmm..Kuroko's right, Yuki. Can you enter the Zone like me? I mean, it's not impossible since you can beat 3 of the Generation Of Miracles," Kagami said.

"Tai-chan is right..It's not impossible for me," Aoyuki looked down. "I just chose not to. Even though the door to the Zone is wide open, I'm just standing at the opening."

"Why?" Kuroko asked.

"I can't seem to find the right time, that's all," Aoyuki said as she shrugged.

Silence took over again. Soon, the bell rang, signaling it's the end of lunch break. The three of them stood up and started walking towards their classroom.

♥♥ Time skip! ♥♥

It is now the day when Seirin will go against Yosen. It's actually the warm up time when Murasakibara and Himuro went towards Kuroko, Kagami and Aoyuki.

"Muro-chin~ Do your business now~" Murasakibara lazily said.

"Okay, okay," Himuro said while chuckling. "I'm Himuro Tatsuya. I'm sure Taiga and Kuroko-kun know me."

"Hello~! I'm Kuroko Aoyuki~!" Aoyuki cheerfully said.

"Nice to meet you, Kuroko-chan."

"Murasakibara-kun, we'll beat you," Kuroko blurted out.

"Are? Kuro-chin? Why are you so sure~?" Murasakibara asked.

"Listen here, Murasakibara! We'll win! We'll beat Yosen!" Kagami said, determined.

"Oh~ The guy that has weird eyebrows is here~"

"....."

"....."

"....."

"Pfftt..." Aoyuki covered her mouth.

The Seirin team began snickering behind Kagami as a ticked off sign appeared on top of his head.

"Why you—?!"

"Tai-chan!" Aoyuki exclaimed and jabbed his side making him flinch.

"Yuki?! What was that for?!"

"Calm down, Kagami-kun," Kuroko said as Kagami jumped.

"Kuroko!!!"

"Anyways, At-chan," Aoyuki said as she turned to Murasakibara.

"What is it, Yuki-chin?"

"Please go in a defensive stance."

Murasakibara looked at Aoyuki, suspicious. But he did what he was told.

Aoyuki grinned and jumped as he threw the ball towards the basket. Yes, threw.

Murasakibara jumped, hoping to stop the ball. But Aoyuki's grin got wider. She's confident that no one can stop her shot once the ball is in its high arc. Even Kagami can't stop it.

SWOOSH!

The ball went in, flawlessly and perfectly in the basket. The Yosen team stared at Aoyuki with their mouths agape.

The audience is quiet. When suddenly, an unknown person yelled.

"Woah! That high arc is higher that Midorima Shintarou's high arc!"

With that, the audience cheered.

Aoyuki smirked at Murasakiara who narrowed his purple eyes at her blue ones.
