A little Neil as Lance and Andrew as Keith to make your day.
Jeremy was certain that Kerberos was cold, but he couldn't feel it through the space suit he wore. Behind him, Jean and his adopted mother Abby were collecting ice samples.
"Careful, kid," Abby said as Jean fumbled with the air tight container. "This ice is delicate".
"Amazing" Jean muttered then turned to Jeremy with a warm smile. "Isn't this exciting Jeremy". His wavy black hair was wildly and unbrushed, even beneath his space suit and Jeremy smiled.
He chuckled. "You guys get a little more excited about ice samples than I do"
Abby shook her head as she took the container from Jean. "This is history in the making. Not only have we traveled farther than any human ever has, but this ice cold holy microscopic clues about the existence of life outside Earth".
"Think of it, mom. We could use those clues to become the first people to meet aliens" Jean said.
"My life's work would be complete," Abby replied but was cut off as the area around them began to rumble. Abby frowned "What is that? Seismic activity?"
"We should get back to the ship" Jeremy murmured as a frighteningly large ship loomed above them.
"What is that? It can't be" Abby trailed off.
"Run! Come on, run!" Jeremy snapped, grabbing Jean's wrist and pulling them towards the ship.
The three of them ran but were knocked out by a blast of violent red light. When Jeremy came back into consciousness he could see a purple skinned man talking to another on a holographic screen.
"Emperor Nathan, we were scouting system X-9-Y as ordered when we found these primitive scientists. I don't think they know anything useful". The purple man said and the other man, Nathan, Jeremy's mind supplied, scowled.
"Take them back to the main fleet for interrogation. The Druids will find out what they know" he said firmly and Jeremy threw himself forward.
"Please, we come from a peaceful planet!" Jeremy pleaded, thinking of Jean and Abby. "We mean you no harm! We're unarmed!" A sharp pain exploded through the back of his head and he collapsed.

"Galaxy Garrison flight log 5-11-14. Begin descent to Kerberos for rescue mission" Kevin said suavely, as he surveyed the empty space in front of him. He jerked the ship's controls to the right and his friend Dan groaned.
"Augh. Kevin, can you keep this thing straight?"
Kevin laughed "Relax, Dan, I'm just getting a feel for the stick. I mean it's not like I did this! Or this!" He jerked the controls to the left then the right and Dan groaned again
"Okay... unless you want to wipe beef stroganoff out of all the little nooks and crannies in this thing, you'd better KNOCK IT OFF, MAN!" Dan muttered, her hand over her mouth.
The third member of the party, René, glared at Kevin, dark bangs hiding his eyes, and reached for his beeping monitor. "We've picked up a distress beacon!"
Kevin grinned at that "All right, look alive, team! René, track coordinates".
"Copy" he said and the spacecraft rumbled again.
"Knock it off, Kevin, please!" Dan cried, turning green.
"Oh this one's on you, buddy. We've got a hydraulic stabilizer out" he said, ignoring his friend's illness.
Dan frowned and picked up her monitor only to turn green again. "Oh no"
"Oh, no—Fix now, puke later!" Kevin snapped.
