Shoto laid on the carpet "I can't look at another news article" he whined. Katsuki chuckled "Well we're almost done" he smiled. "Good" he whined. He leaned close to katsuki almost falling into him. Katsuki blushed as he read the article "Hm, this one might be it?" Shoto snatched it "Family gets murdered on April 2nd 1923 at 12:09 am. Suspect is their blah blah blah butler. Blah blah blah title missing. Blah blah blah 8.6 thousand dollars stolen leaving the Bakugou family to ruin. Oh those poor-" Katsuki snatched the article making Shoto shriek. He looked at the photo of the family before they died "That....is ...my great great grandma's mom!" He gasped."Oh my god" Shoto looked at him "Really?" Katsuki nodded "Yes come with me!" He took Shoto back to his truck and began to speed home. By now it was getting late, Shoto knew Enji would be home soon but seeing the state Katsuki was in he didn't say a word. He reached over holding Katsuki's hand trying to comfort him. He could see the exhaustion and shock on his face. He had no idea what Katsuki was going through but didn't want to leave his side. When they got home they rushed inside. Katsuki ran down to his cellar and began digging through dusty spider web covered boxes. When he found what he was looking for he ran back up to Shoto "This is her" he showed a family picture with the family that died included.
Shoto took the photo looking at it. His gaze darkened as he looked at the butler next to them. "I feel like I've seen this man before I just can't place it" he looked down. Katsuki placed a hand on his shoulder "It's ok" he smiled. He looked at him as he blushed before hugging him. "Why are you fucking hugging me icyhot I will punch you bastard!" He shouted before hugging back. "I will get you your family's house back.." "W-what?" "The manor. It belongs to you, the letter was talking about you. She didn't want it to go to anyone but you. So I'll find that title and give you back what was stolen I promise" Katsuki held him close. He was in shock. Before he could think he pulled Shoto into a heated kiss.
Shoto blushed before sinking in kissing him back. It felt warm and inviting. He leaned into his touch as Katsuki pulled him closer deepening the kiss. Shoto's body shivered as he caved in even more. Katsuki looked at him, tears formed in his eyes "Thank you." Shoto looked at him in shock "For?" He looked down as he pulled a family picture of him when he was a child "10 years ago my parents went into the manor to find out something. They didn't tell me what it was. They..told me there was an injustice that happened. That they needed to make things right." He whispered. "They...were the people who died in the manor 10 years ago weren't they?" Katsuki nodded "I never got to say goodbye"
Shoto wrapped his arms around him as he pulled him close. They laid back on the floor just holding eachother in the dark dimly lit room by the fireplace. They laid their in silence just enjoying each other's embrace. Shoto kissed katsuki in the cheek "When we get you your house back...I promise to you that we will build a garden for them." Katsuki smiled "I like that" As they held eachother in the silence, they both drifted off to sleep. Shoto was determined to fix it he just didn't know how.
Shoto woke up the next morning in a panic. He quickly rushed home before katsuki awoke. He knew Enji would be pissed, how bad would it be? When he got home the house was eerily quiet. He crept down the hall to his room only to be met by Enji. "You snuck out!?" He bellowed. Shoto backed into the corner "I fell asleep in the yard studying! I didn't mean too!" He cried out. Enji glared at him " Don't lie to me!" He took Shoto's arm before striking him across the face.
Shoto let out a cry as he fell to the ground. "I have simple rules that you will obey!" He yelled. "You went out into town with that boy! You are forbidden from seeing him!" He shouted. Shoto glared at him as he stood to his feet "You wouldn't have known I went into town unless ...you spied on me?!" Enji took a step back "How dare you!" "ADMIT IT! YOU SPIED ON ME! YOU HAVE BEEN KEEPING ME LOCKED INSIDE THIS CAGE FOR MONTHS! THE MOMENT I GO TO THE FUCKING LIBRARY YOU HAVE A HISSY FIT! WHAT ARE YOU HIDING! WHY WAS UNCLE TOMO IN THE PHOTO WITH THE MURDERED FAMILY!?"
Enji struck shoto back to the floor. He didn't leave until hours later. Shoto lied on the floor in immense pain. By now he wanted answers. Tears stung his eyes as he slowly sat up. He let out a scream as he threw his things around. He felt helpless. As he laid down he began crying softly into his pillow. He vowed to make things right and he was going to do it even if it killed him.
