Hiddin In The Evergreen

Chapter 1

His eyes pierced through the cold dead silence. It was as if the everything had stopped and time was standing still. His breath was heavy as a puff of cold air left his lips. He had to keep running, he couldn't go back. His footsteps crunched in the snow. One more step.

'I'm so tired, but I hear him coming!'

Two more steps in the snow.

' I can make it just a few more miles!'

Three, four, five more steps in the snow soon his pace quickened. Shoto Todoroki ran faster as he tried to get away from them. His eyes searched through the cold emptiness that was encased around him. This pain never faded. The pain that they pushed into him since he could remember. This pain that he loved so dearly but could only handle so much before he would break.

A loud bang echoed through the empty forest making nearby birds scatter into the sky. Katsuki was in his cabin and saw the birds "Sho?". He dropped his axe and left his chores as he ran through the cold. One thought was on his mind and somehow he knew Shoto was in trouble.

'Hahahah don't forget me Kat, I'll be back tomorrow I promise.'

Those words echoed through the blondes mind as he rushed to the loud sound. "Icyhot!?!" He yelled as he ran through the trees. He ran to the view of shoto falling to his knees. His heart pounded as he ran catching him before he fully hit the ground. He darted his gaze around trying to find who did it but saw no one. He knew they did something, did shoto find it? He gazed down to his horror seeing Shoto was bleeding in his arms and in grave pain. It was painful for shoto but nothing hurt more than seeing katsuki suffering. He gave him a weak smile, his body limb against his. "I'll get you a doctor just stay with me!"

He felt cold and tired as if the world was slowly disappearing from him. "I will fucking kill that bastard" Katsuki muttered as he used his scarf to tie the wound off. Hopefully it would bleed less. Losing the love of his life would be his greatest fear coming true. What did shoto find to make them do this? He wasn't completely sure it was them but something in his gut said it was. His gut feelings were nearly never wrong.

He lifted shoto making him writhe in pain. "I know it's gonna be ok just stay awake." He started running through the snow, the air stinging his lungs. "I-I'm sor..ry"Shoto whispered as tears fell. Katsuki shook his head "You're gonna be ok, it'll all be ok" he tried to reassure him. Shoto's eyes fluttered closed, his body growing colder and weaker with each breath.
