Shoto waited for the heat to die down with his father before he snuck back out to meet Katsuki. When he got there Katsuki came rushing out "Geez! You look like hell sho" he cupped his face gently before kissing his forehead. Shoto's gaze softened "You...said my name" he smiled. "Course I did, come on I found some more information" Shoto took his hand as he followed him inside. He was nervous, he hadn't been quite honest with Katsuki he just didn't know how to tell him. He sat down on the couch beside him as Katsuki began to patch his wounds. "He was really pissed...fuck this looks like it hurt" he sighed. "I've never seen him so angry, but the thing is..he's been spying on us?" Katsuki paused and looked at him "What?" "He had someone watch us go into the library" "That's a strong accusation are you sure it wasn't town gossip icyhot?" Shoto shook his head "No. I know my dad, I know he paid someone who loved to talk to tell him if one of his kids left the house." Katsuki looked at him "Kids? You have siblings?" Shoto nodded "Yeah two brothers and a sister, I'm the youngest."
Katsuki nodded "I see." He sat beside him when it was all done. Shoto winced before leaning against him. Katsuki gently held him being extra careful of his wounds. How could anyone do this to someone as kind as Shoto? "So what information did you find?" Shoto looked up at him. "Well, one person in the family survived the murder. That was her daughter Kisaki, she was my great great grandmother I never met her but from what I've heard when I was younger she was a cold crazy woman. She suffered from delusions and stuff after the attack. My family hid it from eachother until my mom found must have found an article or something." Shoto nodded "Are any relatives you might know be alive?" "My family was closed off before my parents died, they all split to I guess stay safe? I don't know but no I've never met any of my parents family except at the funeral." He looked away.
Shoto held him "Maybe we can try contacting them?" Katsuki shook his head "I have no idea where they are or where they live" "So...you've been alone the last 10 years?" Shoto cuddled up close. "No, not entirely, the town helped raise me until I was 14. Then I slowly learned how to live on my own and I've been independent since." Shoto held him a bit tighter "I'm...so sorry" he whispered. Katsuki looked down at him "So...how did you get that scar on your face?" Shoto looked away "Wow really?" He frowned. "Trauma for trauma" Katsuki shrugged.
"My mom actually. Her family was poor. They sold her to my father in an arranged marriage. She hated him for it. I can't blame her he's so cruel. My dad and her had gotten into a fight about my future. He wanted me to become just like him and she argued against it. She came storming out of his room she was beyond angry. I had never seen that look on her face. I always knew I looked more like my dad than my siblings, I hated that. I was 4 when it happened. I barely remember it. When I went into the kitchen to check on her she was on the phone. She was so upset. After that I felt something hot on my face, my dad came running when he heard me screaming. She had poured boiling water on my face burning my eye. I'm luckily I'm not blind." He sighed. "Oh sho...I'm so sorry" he snuggled him close.
They looked at each other, they both had different pain but they both empathized with it. They pulled eachother into a kiss. Just wanting to be closer and feel one another. After a few moments Katsuki pulled away, he held his hand. "I...want you to be mine?" He whispered. "What?" Shoto looked at him in shock. "I know we've known each other for only 5 months but..there's something about you icyhot. I want you to be mine. I don't want to wake up one day and you be gone. I want you to run away with me. Forget everythi-" Shoto softly shushed him "We can't run away. I know it hurts, I know it's scary. I know you don't like being scared. Yes. I'll be yours but we can't run from this. It needs to be made right ...for our future".
Our Future.
Those words echoed in Katsuki's mind as he looked into Shoto's dual colored eyes. He smiled as tears ran down his face "Swear it" He pulled him close. "I swear it" Shoto chuckled as he leaned into him. Shoto felt his heart flutter. He had never felt more peace than he did in that moment. Once again they cuddled before the fire. Not knowing where their futures lied. They were happy in that moment, just being with eachother.
