Ch. 2-🕷The🕷Bite🕷

   Friday, 7:35 AM

   Peter gets to the front doors, says bye to Harry and heads to his first class, which is Bio and even though the school day doesn't even actually officially start until like 10, his teacher, Aaron Warren, greets Peter at the front door of the class. "Good morning, Mr. Parker, how'd you sleep last night?" Mr. Warren asks him. "Good morning, Mr. Warren, I slept fine. How about you, sir?" Peter replies. But before Mr. Warren can answer, and the rest of the class arrives. "Look!!! Penis Parker is here first, like a total nerd!!!" Flash points out, which honestly wasn't that funny, but a few people in class laughed anyways. 'Probably because it came outta nowhere....or....because they knew if they didn't, then Flash would just make their lives a living hell... just like he's doing to me.' Peter though just shrugs his shoulders. "Hey Eugene!? Remember what Harry told you on the bus?" Peter replies to him, which wipes the smile right off his face. "Whatever," he mumbles. Now everyone is whispering about Harry Osborn, wondering why he was on the bus here when he doesn't even go to Midtown and what the hell he said to finally shut Flash up. They annoyingly kept on pestering Flash and Peter on what went down before they got on the buses because they thought they deserved to know what Harry had said to finally shut up Flash.

   Mr. Warren, who had walked out then back in without Peter noticing, clears his throat so as to get the class' attention. "Attention class, we will be visiting Oscorp Science Lab today, okay? Now, all of you have had to have your legal guardian sign the permission slip, whether it be by a parent, a grandparent, or an aunt, or an uncle. It can also be signed by a family friend as long as they have legal custody of you, ok?" The whole class just responds ok except Flash, the fucker just nods his head. Mr. Warren then lines the class up to lead them all out onto the buses that will take them to Oscorp. 'That's where Harry's dad works or...well that's the place he actually owns.' Peter thinks to himself as he gets on the bus. He looks around the bus for Gwen, finds her when she waves at him then he goes and sits next to her. "Oh, by the way, Harry says hai." Peter remembers to tell Gwen, who looks at him in confusion. "But... we're still friends, and he should still have my number..." Gwen told Peter. 

-15 minutes later

   They get to Oscorp, and everyone's talking about what they wanna do. "I'm honestly just excited for the animal experiments." Peter says to Gwen then automatically regrets it and gets disgusted with himself for thinking of something so inhuman and cruel. Gwen just looks at him in surprise because Peter's definitely not that cruel, and she knows that. "THIS WAY CLASS!" Mr. Warren calls before she can say anything, then leads the class to an area where the enhanced bug is. 'Well enhanced bugS' Peter thinks, but in reality, there's only a few spiders 'Those are technically ARACHNIDS' and according to the scientist there, 'Idiot' Peter thinks. All the bugs-" 'ARACHNIDS' "- have been experimented on, then tested but apparently failed, so they're thinking about just stopping the experiment altogether. Peter and Gwen, without paying much attention on where they go as long as they stay in the building, left the group because they both already have an A+ in class so they don't really need to pay attention. "Oh shit! I almost forgot, Harry said hi..." Peter starts. "Oh, so we're NOT cool!? I mean, Harry does still have my number!" She interrupts him, getting upset. Peter then cups her cheeks before quickly starting to say. "NO GWEN! You guys are still very cool. Just Harry wanted me....to have the chance...to talk...to you...about...us......" Peter trails off as he stutters. Gwen blushes. "Oh....." Is her first response. She looks down but quickly perks up when she realizes that Harry wanted them to have the chance to talk talk because Peter doesn't know this but, but Harry probably does, Gwen has a major crush on him as well. She just thought it'd be kinda awkward if she dated Peter right after breaking up with his best friend. She tells Peter this before she grabbed his hand and dragged him around the lab. Peter, happily, just goes along with Gwen dragging him along. 'I guess we're dating now. I'm not sure how this constitutes dating. Thought I had to ask her out first, but this works too, I guess.' Peter thinks to himself.

   They were just walking over to the Arachnid Display when Peter noticed the sign saying there were 8 spiders, but Peter only counted 7 of them. "Excuse me, miss? There's a spider missing." Peter points out that it says 8, but there are only 7 spiders. Mrs. Connors comes over and comes to a conclusion that Peter thought was kinda stupid. "Oh, well, my husband must be testing one of them still." She replies simply like it was really no big deal. "Shouldn't we at least ask Dr. Connors instead of assuming that everything is all good?" Gwen asks her, which Peter kinda agrees with. But Mrs. Connors doesn't respond because Flash is across the lab, being a complete idiot and messing with shit on the computer that he probably shouldn't be. "HEY! STOP MESSING WITH THAT COMPUTER KID!!!" She calls before running off and leaving Peter and Gwen alone.

-5 minutes later

While Gwen and Peter were by the arachnids, Peter started taking pictures on his phone, mostly because taking pictures was kinda a passion of his but also because he wanted to maybe sell a few to the Daily Bugle so he could have some pocket money on the side. At the time Peter was so busy, taking pictures that he didn't even notice that his class mate, Sydney Moon was right behind him or that a spider was webbing it's way down until it had landed on his hand. Peter didn't mess with it at first. He just stared at it until it bit his hand. Then Peter just simply hits it off while almost hitting Sydney. "Sorry, Syd," Peter apologized to her. He quickly goes to check out the spider and sees it had actually disappeared so he just shrugged his shoulders, thinking maybe it was a species he hadn't heard of or seen since he's not that into spiders so he tried to keep going. The thing was, though, after that weird spider bite, he started feeling really really drowsy, and he was pretty much outta it for the rest of the field trip.

-8 hours and 45 minutes later -

   Peter gets home at around 4:40 PM. He knows he should probably go to the hospital to check out the weird spider bite and why he still feels so drowsy and shit but when his Aunt May and Uncle Ben ask how his day was, Peter just simply completely ignores them and walks on by because he felt tired as fuck. He did, however, make it to his room, but... not quite to....his bed. Peter just simply fell right in front of his bed and then rolled on the ground. Peter then kinda passes out with his glasses still on, which Peter knows can fuck up his vision more than it already is but Peter was also still kinda awake so he thought he could get them before he went to sleep but he was so outta it that he just left the glasses on. That and he didn't really have the energy or the motivation to remove them.
