-14 hours later/Saturday

Peter awakes in the bed, he's sure he didn't get into, while clutching a blanket that he doesn't even remember covering up with. He doesn't even remember taking his glasses off either or setting them on his bedside table either but they were off and on the bedside table. Then when he put them back on, everything got all blurry and shit so he took them back off and suddenly everything immediately cleared up so he just shrugged and, not questioning it, left his glasses on his nightstand. He checks his phone. It says it's 6:40 A.M. "Peter!?" Uncle Ben calls from downstairs. "Is that you? You were passed out, so I got you in bed and covered you up." Peter yawns before heading downstairs. "Yea, it's me. Thanks for the blanket, Uncle Ben. Do you need anything?" Peter responds on his way downstairs. "Yes, Pete, could you be a dear and help your Aunt May next week? I mean, I'll help too, of course, but could you also help because I may be at work?" Uncle Ben asks, turning around. "HEY PETE!!! What happened to your glasses!? Are you wearing contacts? I don't even remember buying you any contacts, " Ben says, noticing Peter wasn't wearing his glasses. "I woke up this morning, and everything looked blurry, so I took off my glasses and...it cleared up." Peter explains to Uncle Ben. "Umm...ok, that's...um....that's not how your eyesight heals..." Uncle Ben says, "...anyways can you?" Peter thinks about it for a little too long. "Come on, Pete! It's not that big of a decision." He tells him, smiling. "I know, but......" Peter starts to say. "But you don't wanna keep your girlfriend waiting?" Uncle Ben interrupts, jokingly to which Peter laughs at. "Come on, Uncle Ben! If I had a girlfriend, then I definitely wouldn't be here right now. Also, you and Aunt May would've already met her." Peter exclaims, though he is kinda dating Gwen, to which Uncle Ben also laughs at. "You also wouldn't be hanging out with little old me Bugger? Listen, kid, you're growing up pretty damn fast, and you wanna be a person that people will look up to. Not someone they don't trust and with great power, there also comes great responsibility, and you don't wanna be the man everyone looks up to only for them to be let down." he says, using Peter's childhood nickname. Peter laughs again. "I'll help, I guess, I mean, I've got nothing better to do anyways." Peter decides even though he could hang with Gwen.

A Week Later-

Peter's going through a magazine for a car on his phone at 11:40 AM. on Sunday when he gets a random text. He checks it and can't believe it's actually Gwen, though he honestly doesn't remember getting her number or giving her his number Friday & really the only reason he didn't pursue her was because at the time, Harry was dating her but they broke up a bit before the field trip and the spider bite. He sits up in bed and fixes his clothes as if she's in his room at his house right now. 'Hai Peter, it's Gwen. From school.' is all it says, like he didn't know the girl he's had a major crush on who is also a CLASSMATE that goes to HIS SCHOOL. Peter thinks for a moment before answering her with 'Hey Gwen', then asked, "How'd you get my number?" Then says,"It was Harry, huh?' Peter goes down to his kitchen to grab me a glass of water. She answers with a three-laughing emojis, then confirms. 'It was Harry'. Peter sits down at his desk in his room before answering her back. 'What the hell am I seriously gonna do with that boy? I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Harry is the ultimate wingman, and Peter puts three more laughing emojis. 'Well....' She sends me back with a winky emoji. Peter waits, but she doesn't send anymore. 'Well....what?' Peter responds with the eyebrow raised emoji as he puts his glass of water on the nightstand. 'Maybe you should take this chance and...I don't know, maybe...date me' she finishes. Peter is a bit taken back, Peter always kinda suspected that she liked him, but he wasn't expecting her to be so straightforward with him. 'Then you really wanna start....dating me?" Peter asks, then says,'I mean, don't get me wrong, this is a dream come true. But you also did just break it off with MY BEST FRIEND!?' Peter responds without thinking about how that might look. 'Ah fuck!' Peter thinks 'It's a new record for him because he fucked up before lunchtime' because she took quite a long time to answer. He just stared at the message for a long time before she answers him. 'Peter, Peter, Peter...*smh* It's not what you're probably thinking, I wasn't just stringing him along or using him to get to you' Gwen texts to Peter. 'Seriously?' was all Peter responded with. 'Seriously I wasn't using him but now honestly, it kinda looks that way huh?' Peter thinks for a minute before he texted her back. 'I don't know if you're lying to me or to yourself or not Gwen' which almost immediately gets a text back. 'I wasn't!! I mean I'm not. I actually DID in fact like him a lot at first but....' she responds. Peter looks down at the message for a bit before answering. "But? But what Gwen?" Peter sends with another eyebrow raised emoji. She doesn't answer immediately, which Peter guesses is completely understandable. Peter feels his phone go off but doesn't immediately respond to Gwen. He has somewhere to be anyways so he heads out the door without Uncle Ben or Aunt May noticing. Once Peter is outside without his aunt or uncle noticing, he checked Gwen's message. "I'm serious , I seriously really like you a lot, Peter, and I DID like Harry." Peter reads this and stupidly replies with a thumb up emoji before closing outta the messaging app, turning his phone off, and heading to the fighting stadium without waiting for her to answer, which probably would've been angry anyways.
