Throwing a vial of alchemist fire at a tree.

The moment of impact, there is a big explosion and a shock wave that blasted affected anything within its 15 meter radius.

"So, alchemist fire is basically a grenade."

Trying out the other potions that I have made after learning it from the book of basic alchemy that I bought from one of the shops in the previous town.

The effects of each potion are so impressive and effective that I can use it for solo fights on my own.

Learning that alchemist potion has two types. The first type is like a splash potion that only affects a single target while the second type gives off a mist like effect that is an AOE. Duration of her affect or damage depends on how strong the potion is or how strong is my enemies.

Sensing Kivoli walking up to me with a man struggling to break free.

He throws the person at my feet.

Squatting down and removing the hood to see a middle-aged Korean man.

"Erm...hi?" Awkwardly greeting him in Korean.

He furrows his brows in confusion, "You are Korean?"

I can understand his reaction since my appearance does not even look human at all. Ever since my black dye faded away, all I am left is my silver white hair and with my mismatched colored eyes that does not even look human at all.

"E-rank hunter, Lee Jiah. You?" I offer him my hand and pull him up to his feet.

"Hak Al-lan. A-rank archer and the Guildmaster of the Blame Guild."

He looks at Kivoli wearily and Leki climbs onto my shoulder and rest her head on the top of my head looking down curiously at the new guy. He jumps in shock when Yuumi rushes up to him on her flying book in excitement.

"This is Yuumi, she is a subspecies of fey. That is Leki, a forest firestater. And you have met Kivoli, he is a Coeurl."

"You are friends with magical beasts?"

"Erm...I believe these three are an exception. And I must apologize about Kivoli's action. He might have thought you are someone who is trying to ambush me or something."

"Al-lan! Are you alright?" hearing a woman yelling at him.

Behind him four Koreans and one Japanese male came running towards us.

"I am fine! Just a misunderstanding."

Having cleared up the misunderstanding, they introduced themselves to me.

The Japanese man is Koga Shiniji, an A-rank fighter and the vice-guild master of the Blame Guild. His fiancee is Oh Min-Ji, a B-rank mage that specialized in ice and water spells. Song Woo-bin, an A-rank assassin. Tu Chul-Soo, a B-rank archer. And Kuem Kang-San, a B-rank tank.

"How have you survived for this long?" Shiniji curiously asks me.

"Sticking to the road? You rarely get any wild magical beasts hanging around areas where the hyuman tends to travel. And besides I have Kivoli and Leki to deal with the problem, plus Yuumi has support abilities."

"Now that is interesting. I have never heard of hunters and magical beasts working together." Min-ji sounds intrigued at what she is seeing.

"Please do not try to make friends with any magical beasts. These three are exceptions and although the villages and towns are mainly friendly, it is just like the human world. There are good and bad people. Wild magical beasts are just like wild animals."

They understand where I am coming from. They have been stuck here for almost a year now and still haven't found the boss or a dungeon break.

From what Al-lan have explained.

The five of them along with a few other hunters from various guilds were hiking up Mount Fuji when they stumbled upon a Gate that had just opened. Since everyone is A or B-rank hunters, they think they can handle it, so they waltz in without realizing that it is a Red Gate. Total, there are 36 of them, but many ends up being separated for many reasons. All I can guess is that they are either dead or still alive, but still alive is highly unlikely knowing the nature of the Gate.

So far, they survive because of Min-ji. She works as a researcher for the Korean Hunter Association, and it just so happens that her research includes studying the language known as Foklun which is the main language in Eronia.

Back in the human world we have many books collected from Gate Raids and there are researchers like her learning and studying the book in order to learn more about it but only a small handful are able to kind of understand, read and even speak it.

"Since we have a similar goal. Want to join us?" Shiniji offer.

Looking at Kivoli, Leki and Yuumi.

"They can come along." Shiniji assures me.

Seeing how Yuumi have taken a liking towards them.

"Sigh...why not."
