"I have never seen a hunter use a scythe before." Haneul looks at Bloody Rose.
Scythes are something hunters never use. It is hard to wield since it is a pole arm with a heavy blade at one end that is hard to handle. For fighters, they go with easier to use weapons like a sword, axes, claws and gauntlets which are very effective too.
"I mean I am comfortable."
"Where did you get it?"
"Found it during my time at the red gate but to be honest, scythe are very rare here."
"Rare? We did not see anyone wielding a scythe."
I mean there would be people wielding scythe to battle since I found it in the Red Gate, "I guess you have not met these people yet."

Traveling deeper into the north.
Things went into shit as we found ourselves being separated during a blizzard in the mountains and an avalanche that sent Kivoli, Leki and Yuumi into a large cavern where there is a large abandoned temple.
Exploring the place, I find a number of things, especially more magic books, potion recipes and an interesting discovery where it is possible to force a gate to open if you have a particular type of ritual but preparing it is troublesome and time consuming.
How much mana to use is unsure but it did say the mage needs to be very strong.

It is a strange quest. The idea of opening a gate sounds good, but the price in order to do so is puzzling. Though the thought of returning to the human world might be worth it. And since I am here, I might as well accept the quest.

"It is a dangerous process. Not even I am capable of doing it." Min-Ji admits. "The amount of mana usage is too much for me."
That is understandable. Humans from the human world have a mana capacity that would put them in a certain rank. Their bodies are able to regenerate mana but it is just like recovering from fatigue. It takes a few hours and even days if they use too much of their mana. Unlike the hyumans here, they are able to use their own mana and also manipulate the mana around them so doing spells like this would mean a powerful mage that can manipulate a large amount of mana around them along with their own to cast this spell.
"I can do it."
Everyone looks at me in disbelief and I start explaining how the mages and healers in this world are taught to manipulate mana around them in order to cast their spells.
Watching Min-ji tries but gives up. I now believe the humans from our world are incapable of doing such things. The only reason why I am able to do it is because the system itself places a part on my progress. A very useful advantage.
"So, you are saying you are capable of doing it?" Al-lan asks me curiously.
"I will show you but as usual, please keep it a secret. If we manage to escape this place and if the hunter association asks us how we survive. You guys will be taking the credit for everything."
"How about you?" Shiniji asked.
"I help with my knowledge I accumulated from training."
"Make sense..."
I did help them with basic survival skills in such a harsh environment and teach them how to adapt just as well as I do in such a situation.
"Well, we can try and see how things goes," Al-lan finally agrees to this.
