What surprises me is when the person explains about the 40% tax I got to pay.
"Yes. When an individual is selling the crystals, 40% is taken as tax. However, when a Guild is selling them, it's only 10%."

I did recall hearing about both the agents from the monitoring division of the Association and the White Tiger Guild coming to the location of the dual dungeon incident. Because they were receiving special treatments, Guilds had to cooperate with the government and Association when they asked for help.
I did ponder on my choices because of the high tax rates.
'Should I just hold onto the crystals and sell them off after I enter a Guild?'
Thinking it through. If I enter a Guild and start working for them, the main objective would be Fates rated A and B. The mana crystals coming out from those Gates would incomparably be more valuable than those from a C-ranked Gate. And right now, every cent counts.

I do close one eye when Jinah and Jiah drink. The rule is that they need to drink when I am around so that I can keep an eye on them. Right now, Jinah have a lot of project due next week. She was offered a scholarship to any Korea University but she has to maintain her straight As.
I admire how Jinah wants to stand on her own two feet and work hard for herself.
Popping the lid open of the cold can of beer and pouring the contents down my throat.
