Sigma sat across from you, anxiously glancing around the fancy restaurant he had chosen. Your table was decorated with two black napkins, the silver ware folded neatly inside. In the middle of the table on both sides, we're white candles lit so that some light could be seen in the dark room. Off to your right was a bar, the lights were dimmed, as the man behind the counter worked hard to meet his customers' needs.
"Fancy? Isn't it" Sigma asked suddenly, grabbing your attention away from the details around you. You nodded, an uneven smile forming on your lips. Places like this made you anxious. There was lots of people and chatter, which didn't really help sooth your nerves at all.
"It's the only place I could make reservations at. Everywhere else was already reserved funny enough" Sigma lowered his head, his smile widening.
"Imagine that, the Casino Manager himself can't get reservations at his own Casino" You smiled, chuckling at his words. Sigma raised his gaze to meet yours. His expression soft yet conflicted. Suddenly, Sigma shook himself, slightly startling you.
"That's right! I almost forgot" He reached down into his pockets, searching for something. You watched curiously as he finally pulled something out, placing it down on the table for you to see.
"Here is an invitation for a party that I'm going to hold. It's happening this Thursday if you'd like to join me?" You glanced down at the form, an unsettling feeling overflowing your insides. You glanced at him again, nervously trying to decide. Thursday was the day after tomorrow. Parties are usually packed with people, that would mean socializing. You peered up at Sigma, he seemed to be in the same situation. He sat at an angle and he rested his face in his hands, a conflicted expression spreading across his features. His eyebrows were furrowed, and he seemed nervous. Slowly, you took in a deep breath.
"Alright. I'll join you"
