|Tris' POV|

"So Tris how's work going? Hope you aren't too busy," Christina says.

Christina has been my best friend since we exited the womb, we do everything together. Especially gossip about literally everything and everyone.

"It's going alright, I just finished with the planning of one wedding so now I'm catching up on all my paper work that goes along with it," I say to her.

I work as a Wedding Planner while Christina owns a wedding dress shop. We partnered so we would know each other could make a living. I would always take my clients to her shop and she would always highly recommend her customers to me. As 21 year olds it was a big risk to open the shops but now we are flourishing in this multimillion dollar industry.

"When is Will going to propose?" I jokingly ask while sipping my coffee. We both met up at a cafe so catch up since when we see each other it is usually regarding work.

"Tris... You know you can't pressure him," Christina says with a wink.

"If he likes it he should put a ring on it," I say sassily showing off my Beyoncé moves.

It causes Christina to giggle which almost transforms her into a coffee spurting fountain.

"Tris I need to get you a boyfriend. You haven't had one since the end of high school," she says.

It's true. I met this dreamy blue eyed boy when I was in the 10th grade. He was the school's resident football star, the one all the girls would drool over. Me? I was some girl who drew wedding dresses with Christina on scrap pieces of paper and just talked to my other friends Marlene, Shauna and Lynn. But all that changed when I bumped into the most popular guy in school, literally while I was turning a corner. My books and papers spilled everywhere and one of my drawings caught his attention. It was my latest wedding dress drawing and it supposedly got him mesmerized. After that we began to talk more and more until finally one day he asked me out. We dated until the end of school where we separated because he went off to some sports academy and I went to a design school. The boy that shattered my heart went by the name of Tobias "Four" Eaton.

"I just don't think I can date Christina. Not after what happened," I say to her.

"Tris that was ages ago and plus no schools and distances are going to get in the way this time. You can't be hung up on Four. If he really loved you he would have come after you when you left for that design school," she says gently.

"Yeah but it still hurts, he's the only guy I ever loved but you're right it was ages ago and I've moved on," I say firmly.

"Good, lets go back to my shop and we can draw some more dresses up," she says with a smile.

"Yes let's!" I say excitedly.

We pay for our coffee and head back to Christina's Dress shop which is only a couple of blocks down. Once we get into the door she pulls me over to the racks to show me her latest design. It's sleek with tiny diamonds encrusted near the neckline. It has a plunging neckline and it's one of those hug the figure kind of dress.

"Chrissy it's beautiful," I say to her.

"Thanks, now let's get to drawing those new dresses," she says.

We walk over to her office area and we both get a sketch pad and pencil and begin to stretch while talking. Drawing calms me down so much, it's almost like second nature to me. I'm broken out of my trance when I hear my phone singing to me.

Caller ID shows an unknown number. Must be for business then...

"Tris Prior's Wedding Planning, this is Tris how may I help you?" I answer.

"Tris, oh my god it's been forever!" The voice screams.

"May I have your name?" I ask. Christina is trying to suppress a laughter in front of me.

"Tris, it's Lauren! Lauren Kings? From high school? Remember me?" She asks.

Lauren Kings of course... biggest slut, head cheerleader and biggest bully ever. Her face was always caked with makeup and it was disgusting. She always kept flirting with Tobias even though she knew I was his girlfriend at the time.

"Oh yeah Lauren Kings I remember, how can I help you?" I ask making a face at Christina when I say her name.

"Well I recently got engaged and I would like your assistance in planning my wedding. Would we be able to meet up to discuss details?" She asks.

"Um of course but firstly congratulations to you and your fiancé. If you swing by my office on 11 Droplet street, at 2 in the afternoon tomorrow then I'm sure we can get started," I say to her.

"Perf! I'll bring my fiancé too! ill see you tomorrow Tris!!" She squeals.

We both hang up and I'm met with Christina smirking at me.

"Don't give me that look, this is strictly business," I say to her.

"I know but I am so dropping into your office at the same time because I'm keen to see this go down. It's a good thing you are literally next door to my shop," she says.

"She's bringing the poor sucker she is marrying too, so this will be interesting," I say to her.

"It will be my chance to give my condolences to the groom," she says with a wink.

"You're terrible!" I say laughing at her.

"Well you are the best in the business so it would seem right that she would choose you to plan this stuff for her," she says.

"Yeah but I'll have to refrain from punching her constantly," I say with a wink.

"Just so you know, I make no such promises," Christina says with a wink.
