Honeymoon Part 5!

The next couple of days went slightly more smoothly than the last couple. The newlyweds were excited about the news and what the future may bring, they knew that they had lots of to do before then but for now they enjoyed their honeymoon visiting all sorts of fun locations in Australia including but not limited to Luna Park, Koala Sanctuary, Telstra Tower and so much more. When the time came to return home, they were happy to be returning home but sad to be leaving such a lovely place, and time behind.

As Y/n couldn't apparat being pregnant they had to catch a plane, Poppy and Minerva meet them there to make sure they got back to Hogwarts safely. Minerva believed it was just because Y/n hoped to see her parents on return, but Poppy had plans to drag Y/n to the hospital wing after to check in on her.

The drive was full of life as they all chatted about their time away and what they got up to while away. Y/n and Fred avoided mentioning the fact she was sick so she could tell her parents at least first, they would have to tell Poppy soon but after they would go see his parents to tell them.

As they arrived at the train station, they got out of the car shrinking it and going inside reaching the platform they took a special train trip to Hogwarts allowing Y/n to stare out the window as if she were a student again. Even pregnant she could use the floo but there was the case of heavy morning sickness she was dealing with, once that goes away the dizzy waves from flooing wouldn't be as bad and she would be able to use the floo.

As they arrived at Hogsmead they climbed into the carriages and rode to Hogwarts. When they descended the carriage Poppy pulled Y/n back making her promise to come see her after she spoke with her parents. Poppy left to return to the Hospital Wing after Y/n agreed.

(Y/n P.O.V)

I knew it was pointless arguing with Aunty Poppy. I followed Aunty Minni as we walked down to the staff rooms. Aunty Minni said goodbye and gave us both a hug before she went to her own rooms. I held Fred's hand nervously as we reached the door. I took a deep breath and opened the door as Fred rubbed circles on my hand. My Dad hugged me as soon as I walked through the door clearly excited to see me.

"Hey Dad, I missed you! Hey Papa!" I greeted as Papa entered the room hearing the door open.

"How was your trip?" Papa asked as we all sat down.

"Well..." I took a deep breath as Fred rested his hand on my thigh reassuring me. Ï wasn't feeling all that well for most of our trip so we didn't get up to as much as we would have liked.

"Are you feeling any better?" Papa asked with a concerned look.

"Much!" I tell him looking in Fred's eyes.

"Do you know what was wrong? Maybe food poisoning? or something?" Bothe my parents were clearly concerned, even Dad's normal chill domineer was tensed as he asked. 

"Well... you are going to be grandparents?" I laughed a nervous laugh, but it didn't take long before both my parents gave me a hug and congratulated us both.

"You are not mad?" I ask befuddled by their reaction.

"Of course not! We are going to be grandparents!" Papa cheered giving Dad a hug as he cheered.

"As much as I don't like Fred I must admit having Grandkids can be a redo since I wasn't able to be there for you." I gave my Dad a hug, happy he was on board as he was the one I was most scared of.

We continued to chat and fill my parents in before going to visit Poppy, telling her the good news having a quick check up before heading to the Burrow. I didn't want too many people found out before my parents-in-law found out. As Fred and I walked through the house hand in hand, we looked around for his parents who were sat in the shed, Arthur was tinkering with a clock while Molly was searching through his muggle things as if making sure he hadn't found a loophole to another law.

"Good afternoon!" I made us known to the two older Weasleys after going un-noticed for several minutes.

"Oh- Y/n, Fred! Hello my dears! How was your honeymoon?" Molly asked giving us both a hug.

"It was good." I told them with a smile.

"Better than good I would say!" Fred said pulling me a little closer and kissing my forehead.

"What did you two get up to?" Molly eyed us.

"Well Molly we may be needing your expert opinion soon." I smirked.

"On what?" She seemed really unsure about what Fred may want.

"Well I'm good at almost everything else but raising a child is a bit out of my experience!" I rolled my eyes at Fred egotistical comment.

"Wha- a child! Your pregnant?" I nodded at Molly's reply before she pulled me into a tight hug.

"Molly dear you will crush the poor thing!" Arthur said as he went over to give Fred a hug.

"Oh sorry, sorry!" She muttered letting go.

"It's okay Molly! No harm done! Baby isn't big enough to be crushed yet!" I laughed.

"Yes, but you are my love!" Fred told me wrapping his arms around my waist and planting a kiss on my nose.

Fred and I stayed for dinner before returning home.

"That went well!" He told me as we sat on the couch.

"Better than I expected!" I admitted as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"You tired love?" He asked as he rest his head on mine.

"These past few days have been a lot, amazing but definitely a lot." I yawned.

"Well it's just the beginning! In nine short months we will have a little one to take care of and though every day will be a new exciting adventure, at the same time every day will bring another challenge." He told me as we sat there cuddled on the couch one on which someday soon, we would sit here with our child while they played in front of us, Fred would be experimenting with new ideas and I reading a book, it was a dream but one that seemed more possible than others as I rest my hand on my stomach imagining the little baby that was growing inside me.
