33) The truth behind all

--Present time; At Lotus pier...

The throne room of Lotus pier was filled with cultivators from different clans as they patiently waited for the meeting to start. Yet when they felt a very powerful presence all around them, they all shifted nervously and fell to their knees.

"Heh, now you remember to show your respect? Where was it when Tài Zǐ Diànxià decided to help you all?" A man in a maple red attire spat hatefully as he made his way towards the front of the hall with an ethereally beautiful man beside him followed by three teenagers, Hanguang Jun, Lan Qiren and sect leader Jiang. Behind all of them the ghost general entered the hall, dragging a tied up Su She along with him.

"Well...let's begin with proper introductions this time around. Shall we?" Offering the sect leader Jiang's throne to the man beside him, the red clad man started, eyeing everyone present at the room.

"As you all should know by now, I am Crimson Rain Sought Flower, Hua Cheng and this is my husband, Flower Crown Martial God, the current heavenly emperor Xie Lian. We are the biological parents of the current Tài Zǐ Diànxià Hua Ying, as you all might know, the Yiling Laozu Wei Wuxian. And these three teens are our grandchildren." At his cue the three boys stepped forward and removed their masks and started introducing themselves properly, leaving the crowd to collect their jaws from the floor.

"Tài-Tài Zǐ Diànxià?!"

"Did I hear it right?"

"Yes yes."

"So that means Wei Wuxian is a- is a-oh my gods!"

"No wonder everything went downhill after his death."

"Yeah."

"We should be glad that the gods didn't kill us all on the spot."

"I'm Lan Hua Yuan. Courtesy Shizui, heir to the heavenly realm; biological son of the second jade of GusuLan sect, Lan WangJi and Tài Zǐ Diànxià Hua Ying." Shizui begins the introduction, ignoring the murmurs of the crowd, giving them another topic to discuss among themselves.

"Hanguang Jun's son?"

"Yiling Laozu? How could that be possible?"

"Aren't he and Hanguang Jun enemies? How could they have a child together?"

"He said that he is the biological son, right?"

"How is it possible for a man to give birth?"

However before they could go any longer, Hua Xuanyu also raised his voice to introduce himself, "I'm Lan Hua Xuanyu. Courtesy Yihui. Elder brother of Lan Hua Shizui and son of Hanguang Jun and Tài Zǐ Diànxià Hua Ying."

"Isn't that Mo Xuanyu?"

"Yes yes. I remember his face when he was still a part of the LanlingJin sect."

"How could he say that he is Hanguang Jun's son?!"

"How shameless!"

At that point, Hua Cheng coughed loudly, reminding the crowd of his presence before signing the last teen to introduce himself.

Feng Ling, "I'm Feng Ling. Courtesy RuLan, heir to the Fenghuang clan and the son of Lord Fenghuang* and Lady Lianhua*. Also the nephew of Tài Zǐ Diànxià Hua Ying."

At that, sect leader Jiang's interest perked up but before he could say anything, Hua Cheng started speaking again.

"Now that you all have an idea about who you messed with in the past, let's move on to the explanations. What do you think, your highness?"

"Show them the memories, San Lang. They should see everything. But don't show anything our baobei didn't want to tell anyone. After that, show them what A-Yu and our officials found out about that man." Xie Lian instructed softly while trying to calm the shouting heavenly officials through the communication array.

He knew how eager those officials were to come down and seek justice for their beloved A-Ying but Xie Lian didn't want to deal with the aftermath of it once after they were done. So he kept reassuring them through the communication array, internally wishing that he shouldn't have left that looking glass open for them to see everything that is currently happening in the Lotus pier.

"Mn" Hua Cheng agreed quickly, drawing Xie Lian's attention back as he released his resentment towards the crowd to begin the display.

"Well...that's it, I assume. Any questions?" Hua Cheng broke the silence soon after the show was over. However no one dared to make a single sound, feeling too guilty to say anything.

They couldn't believe how blindingly they believed in Jin GuangYao and how arrogant they had been to berate such a selfless boy, a god at that. And what exactly could they say after all they did to the crown prince of three realms for goodness sake?!

Ask forgiveness?

That would be a complete joke if they even dared to even think of a forgiveness after everything.

"Since you don't have any questions, I have something to say-" Xie Lian raised his voice which sounded cold and extremely powerful, making the arrogant cultivators at present to cower in fear.

"-It was Tài Zǐ Diànxià's mortal trial he had to go through before he officially ascend to godhood. So whatever you did in the past, I will not hold any grudge towards you as the heavenly emperor. However...I cannot guarantee the actions of other heavenly officials and I cannot guarantee my guidance towards you mortals in future situations where you would need the help of me and the heavenly court as it was the child I carried for months before giving birth to him. As a mother, I can never forgive you.

From now on, I will only take the responsibility of keeping the heavenly officials, ghosts and demons from destroying the balance and maintaining the overall peace of the world as a punishment for your arrogance. However...if you dare to make the same mistake once again, I will make sure that the one who is wiping you all off of your existence will be me and I assure you that it will never be anything pleasant for you..." Xie Lian finished, adding a big and sincere smile to the end for much convenience which frightened the crowd to their very core.

* Lord Fenghuang/ Phoenix Lord [凤凰 - Fènghuáng] - The title of the current leader of the heavenly phoenix clan. The clan name/surname goes as "Feng", derived by the word "Fenghuang"

* Time skip (About what they showed the cultivators)

• There is no reason to repeat MDZS here since Wei Wuxian's life story until his death in this story is 90% similar to the original.

• The only differences are how Wei Wuxian became a ghost after being thrown into the Burial Mounds, how he achieved savage rank during the Sunshot campaign and how he became a supreme after the campaign.

• Some incidents such as what happened after the fall of Lotus pier (will be revealed in the next chapter/s) and Sunshot campaign where Lan WangJi and Wei Wuxian spent a night together were removed from displaying because they were too personal for Hua Ying.

• After that Hua Xuanyu's memories were shown to elaborate further and show them what he found about Jin GuangYao_his past actions and his future plans and the death of Nie Minjue.

• Lastly, they were shown what the heavenly officials found out about Jin GuangYao_how he framed Wei Wuxian for everything and how he manipulated everyone to believe his well planned lie.
