"FOR OUR NEXT BOUT" Argus announced, causing excitement to rise again. "WE HAVE TWO BEINGS THAT ARE CHARGED WITH KEEPING THEIR WORLDS SAFE. THEY CONTROL THE VERY ESSENCE OF ENERGY AND NATURE, AND USE THEIR POWERS TO PROTECT".

Humanity's door opened, and a green tornado surrounded by lightning burst forth, spinning around the arena, causing a few gasps and yelps from the crowd.

"FOR HUMANITY, WE HAVE THE GREEN NINJA, LLOYD GARMADON!" Argus shouted, as the tornado ceased spinning, revealing the green-clad elemental master. Lloyd looked around the arena, looking unnerved by so many people being present.

"AND FOR HEAVEN" Argus boomed, as the second door opened. "WE HAVE THE GODDESS OF LIGHT, CETRION!" The Elder Goddess stepped out of her door, looking towards Lloyd with understanding eyes.

"I know what you fight for, Lloyd Garmadon. And I do believe in your cause" she said slowly, causing Lloyd's eyes to widen in surprise.

"Wha- Then just yield now and let me win!" he called, but Cetrion shook her head.

"It will not be that easy. If you truly wish to save humanity, you must do so through combat". She readied herself for the fight, and Lloyd looked to the sky, sighing.

"EVERYTHING has to be done by fighting" he muttered, drawing his twin katanas.

"ARE THE CHAMPIONS READY?" Argus called down.

"As ready as I can be" Lloyd said, but he didn't really want to fight someone who was agreeing with him.

"Let us engage in combat" Cetrion stated.

"THEN LET THE MATCH... BEGIN!" Argus announced. Cetrion began the fight by firing a hail of rocks towards Lloyd, but the Son of Garmadon quickly dodged out of the way and dashed at the goddess. He swung his blades all around her, trying to pretend he was attacking her, but Cetrion kept moving in a way that every sword blow landed.

"Please, just surrender if you wanna help us!" Lloyd pleaded.

"It cannot be that way, Garmadon. And you realise that" Cetrion replied, before whipping her arm around in a sweeping motion. A body of water appeared from nowhere, enveloping the Green Ninja. Lloyd was forced to perform Airjitzu to escape the attack, only for Cetrion to fly up and strike him back to the ground.

"You're not gonna just help us normally, are you?" Lloyd grunted, standing up on pained legs. Cetrion floated above the ninja, looking sympathetic.

"At least attempt to land an attack on me, young ninja" she asked her opponent.

Lloyd closed his eyes, and then said "Fine, but I'm not happy about it".

He leapt into the air again, swinging his katana around. The attack landed successfully upn Cetrion's shoulder, causing the goddess to cry out, pushing a gust of air into the ninja. Lloyd flew across the arena, losing his weapons, and landed in a heap beside his door.
He got to his feet in great pain, finally coming to a solution.

"If you won't yield..." he announced, before pulling down his mask, and raising his arms.

"Then I will".

Cetrion stared at the boy, thinking of what to say. "You surrender? But that will count as a win against your kind!"

"So what? I can't beat a literal god" Lloyd shrugged, turning around and walking to his door. "I just hope my friends can beat the rest of your side". Cetrion stayed rooted to the spot, shocked at this action. Then, realising what Lloyd's plan was, she smiled.

"You are indeed wise, Lloyd Garmadon" she said, sounding awed. She turned to Argus, who had watched these events, and was also smiling.

"THE WINNER BY SURRENDER IS CETRION!" he boomed, and was met with cheers from Heaven's side of the stands, while annoyed shouts echoed from Humanity, with some shaking their fists at Lloyd as he exited the arena.

As Cetrion made her way back to her own exit, Argus called "MAY THE NEXT CHAMPIONS PREPARE THEMSELVES!"
