LIES

Chapter 6

I am awoken by a small knock on my door. I get up and quickly change back into my suit. I open the door. "Hi." Koa says with a soft voice. I slightly smile. "Hi." I reply. "So you only want to know if he's hiding something?" He adds with a small voice. "Yea." I say. He smiles. "Come here." He tells me. I go over to him, he pulls me in a tight hug. "I'm sorry." He whispers in my ear. I look up at him. "It's alright, it must be hard progressing all of this." I say with a sweet voice. He smiles and hugs me even tighter. "This is why I love u." He states.

"Everyone ready?" Aarav asks. "Yup." Zev shouts. Everybody nods in agreement.

"Thought u weren't coming back." Lilith sarcastically states. Koa grins "Guess what, I'm here." He jokes. "I was being sarcastic actually." She comments. Koa raises an eyebrow. I notice the curly-head, this time he's not wearing the hood. "Weird." I think to myself. I lure him into a side-alley while having my powers ready in my hands. He smirks while walking backwards.

"Greetings, I'm Zino." He starts. "Myra." I reply. He shoots a light green powerball at me, I dodge it. "Nice try" I joke. He chuckles. I shoot a purple beam towards him, just in time he shoots a light green beam that is perfectly aligned with my beam. "Pretty colour." He says with a deep voice. "I know." I say while using more force on the beam making it mix with his green one.

Wait? Mix? It's not supposed to mix.

They both look confused at the dark green colour mixture forming in the center of both beams. "What the fuck is this." He complains. "As if I would know." I sassily add. Again I use more force on my beam making the dark green mixture get closer to him, he notices and also starts using more force on his beam making the dark green part get bigger and bigger. I squint my eyes because of how bright everything is.

Boom.

The dark green part explodes and sends both of us flying backwards.

POV "Zino"
I get flung back at high speed, hitting the wall of the building behind me. While I got flung a green flash went over my body. "Shit." I think to myself, I look over at Myra, who's still waking up from the hit. I quickly put my hood on and try to shape shift again. Nothing. "Fuckk." I swear.

POV Myra
I get up from the fall, roll my neck and walk over to "Zino" with magic ready in my hands, right as I'm in front of him, he stands up. "Why the hood." I joke. "Hiding something from me?" I add. He chuckles. "And what if I am?" He tells me. I raise an eyebrow. I go to take his hood off, he grabs my hand in the process. "I don't think so." He states. I chuckle and pull the hood off with my other hand. His eyes widen and he lets go of my hand. I slightly gasp and step back. He chuckles. "Good one." He says with a deep voice. He shoots a green powerball at me, I dodge it and shoot one back. We begin fighting. "I'm guessing Zino is also a lie." He grins. "Smart lady." He comments. "Zion?" We hear someone shout from in the distance. His eyes widen. "Hi brother." He says with a tight voice. Koa gets closer to us. "I saw u die? How are u here?" He begins. Zion smirks. "Last time I checked, my heart is beating perfectly fine." He sarcastically says. Koa looks confused. "Am I hallucinating?" He questions himself. "No, my dearest brother, let's just say, the person u saw die wasn't.... actually me.. but a.. um clone" Zion explains. "All these years I thought you were dead!" He shouts while coming even closer to us. "Um.."Zion gets nervous. He looks over at me and snickers, he runs over to me and stabs me in my lower left abdomen with one of his daggers. "Sorry." he quickly whispers and runs off leaving his dagger in my body. "Myra!" Koa yells and runs over to me.

I lower myself out of pain, I go to pull the dagger out of my body. "No, don't take it out." Koa yells. I start crying out of pain, and my necklace starts glowing red. It doesn't take long before almost the whole team is where I am.
Aarav tells Lilith that they'll continue the fight tomorrow . "Already giving up huh?" I hear her reply. Aarav just ignores her and comes over to where everyone else is.

"What happened here." He asks. "My brother." Koa coldly replies. "Damn." Aarav adds. "Take her back to the headquarters, we can't help her here." He states. Koa lifts me up. I groan in pain. He looks at me with a worried face. "You can get through this my love." He whispers. I smile through the pain. "Always." I blur out. He smiles and runs back to the headquarters.
