LIES

Chapter 23

As I break the hug our names get called. "Elyse, Myra??" it sounds. "I think it's time." Elyse mentions. "Will you be able to focus." I ask. "Yes." she says. "Sure?" I tell her. She nods. I sigh as we return back. 

"Where were u two?" Aarav scoffs. "We were having a chat." Elyse defends. "Okay.." Aarav comments. 

But before we knew it we were back at it, fighting Lilith. 

"Hey you." I hear a deep voice call out. I recognize this voice, it's Zion. I giggle. "We meet again?" I joke. "Sadly." he jokes. I giggle as I get closer to him. "Who do I fight missy?" He ask. "Oh you don't want to fight me?" I joke. "I wouldn't want to hurt such beauty, you know." he begins. I giggle. "Maybe just protect your team, not necessarily fight someone, get it?" I tell him. "Of course darling." He says. I blush as I go to one of those easy monsters you know. 

The monster makes weird growls at me as I fight it. As I do I can't help myself checking on Zion, I just need to know if he's still intact, get it?  

"What girl look at?" the monster growls at me. "Nothing." I tell it. The monster turns his head in my direction. "That Zion." It spits out. It turns his head back at me. "Why look at Zion?" it asks. "Will you stop spitting on me." I comment. It starts laughing as I hear a scream that would go throught marrow and bone. 

I look at the direction the scream came from. I frown my eyebrows as I try to look for Zion, I can't find him. I start panicking. "No, no.." I whisper. I see a dark figure walking into the bushes. My eyes widen and I start running towards it, as I do I can hear the monster growl. 

I walk into the bushes. "Zion?" I call out. "No Myra, leave!" The voice yells. I follow the direction where the voice came from. "Zion.." I say. "Please, just leave, you're going to get in trouble." He tells me. I lift up his hand. "You've.. been stabbed." I notice. I get my power ready to heal him.

"No!" He tells me. "You will get in trouble." he comments. "I don't care Zion." I scoff. He looks at me. "I don't want you bleeding out." I add. He lets out a short laugh. He grabs my cheek as a tear rolls down it. "I can't lose u, Zion." I blur out as I heal him. His eyes widen as he realises. "Myra, U shouldn't have.." He begins. "I couldn't resist." I tell him. "Now get out of here." I tell him.

I wipe my tears as I watch him run out the bushes.
