I sigh. I go up to Elyse. "Ely" I call out. She looks up. "What's wrong?" she asks. As I was about to ask her to go somewhere private we get interrupted. "Well since we've burned the book, but Koa forgot to mention that she has a photographic memory, we must do our best." Aarav starts. "We've already lost people and I don't want to lose anyone more." he adds. "Be your best for tomorrow." he quotes. "What if they teleport again." Erik points out. Aarav lets out a big sigh. "Well we still have the day after that." he announces. "Is everything clear?" Aarav questions. Everyone nods.
"What was it that you wanted to tell me?" Elyse comments. "Oh, you know i'll tell u tomorrow." I tell her. She frowns her eyebrows. "Is it urgent or can it wait." she asks. I sigh. "It's important yes, but I don't know how you feel about it." I tell her. She look quite confused. "Do u want me to go somewhere private." she questions. I just nod. She gets up. "Let's go." She announces. "Are u sure, you don't have to hear it." I tell her. "What is it about." She questions. I stay silent for a minute. "About dad." I whisper. Her eyes widen. She pulls me somewhere private.
"U don't have to hear it, I know you never wanted to know." I tell her. "No, I think I'm ready to know who our father is." She tells me.
I begin to tell her.
~ Our mother met our father on a fight, they never knew that love between them was possible but it was. They kept it a secret from everyone, no one could know, she was afraid how her team would react, the same for him. But then the fight calmed down and they thought they'd never see eachother again, so they exchanged adresses. They both had to come up with excuses to see eachother. They loved eachother in secret for years, until you came allong. How was she going to keep this a secret, she was in distress as he comforted her, there her parents walked in. They were hesitant at first, but when she explained they calmed down and accepted that their daughter, was inlove with.... a 'villain'. A few year later she was pregnant again, with me. He was there for her all troughout the pregnancy, but then when I was born, he held me in his arms before kissing me goodnight and going back to his kingdom, like routine, but this time he didn't return. Not a few days later the kingdom newspaper announced that he was dead. "Knights caught villain sneaking out the kingdom." the titel said. ~
I stare into her teary eyes as I finish the story. "Wow, I'm speechless" she jokes as she wipes away tears. I smile as I go to hug her.
