I've arrive a bit late maybe 10minutes late, because I had to return home for my wallet.

The meeting place is a cafe again. Near all of our universities. It's a less crowded one but is one of the few cafes who can accommodate almost 100 customers, so it's a big cafe with indoor and outdoor areas. I really like this place but I don't get to go here often because its near His university. Anyways, I saw faces I recognized as my groupmates and shyly approached them, the table at the farthest corner of the cafe.

"Hello! I'm Alyana Lim or just Aly nice to meet all of you." I said brightly, three are girls,and one's a boy. Trish introduced herself, followed by the others, Trish also said we're still waiting for two more to arrive and 'He' still isn't here.

I'm having butterflies in my stomach whenever I glanced at the entrance of the cafe when someone comes in, remembering the time when whom I'll be group with was announce, I thought I heard it wrong but Sir Rivera repeated the groupings, I scanned the room and I don't see him anywhere..and then that song, I know that song, and when I glanced sideways, I saw him, and that our eyes locked and and.. "Breathe Aly, breathe." I said to myself, then I keep on persuading myself that maybe He decided to change groups.

While waiting for them, we begun discussing the usual get-to-know stuffs, like where are you from, your likes,hobbies and etc. There names were Trish, who really looks studious or nerdy nerdy but still full of humor, Aura, she's like one of the clique girls at their school, but she's nice to talk too and she's really simple. Yen, she's pretty but a little intimidating so I didn't talk to her that much but i think she's nice, and lastly Nitz, he's chinito and tall,and he jokes a lot, so it'll be fun to have him as a friend.. And I'm glad that I didn't change groups, maybe its gonna be all worth it.

Thirty minutes had past when they'd arrive, 'he' being one, and the other is someone that looks familiar. The way they walked and their aura says they're best of friends.  Both of them sat down, the other guy smiling, he, keeping a poker face. Then Trish, asked them for a brief introduction of themselves, the other guy, who's name is Jake Torres, to describe him, but he's handsome, and has that good-guy next door look.. then it was him, Rhon, or Rhon Darryl Magpantay, thats him.period.

Now that we were all here, Trish, decided to be like a leader which is fine with all of us, she'd ask about our ideas, opinions, comments, suggestion and everything that would be part of the project, I had a fair share of my ideas said but when I feel like someone's staring, I stammer a bit and sometimes i can't say it. After that I was just the listener.

I think that Yen knew Jake and Ron, for Yendo seems to talk to the two but all she gets in reply are nods or yeah or sometimes they ignore her, that the brainstorming turned out a bit of storytelling of Yen's life (what I learned about her is that she talks alot.) Yen said that Ron's girlfriend, is her best friend, and that its her first time meeting him as she said which we didn't believe.

Then there was Ritz who continues to bother Aura like he always ask her a knock knock joke, and that the joke is funny sometimes we laugh at it as well and there is Jake, he seems kinda quiet, too quiet for a guy or that he has tons of surprises in store. Lastly, Rhon, he was seated at the other end of the table and we're completly invisible to each other.

The brain storming or I should call share your life meeting continued for another hour before we called it a day.

Trish, Aura and a Ritz, decided to go together as soon as we decided to end the day, they are actually classmates so, they really knew each other even before, then Yen bade goodbye as well, and I followed, but decided to go back inside to buy a latte first. I didn't know where the two went, cause as soon as the meeting adjourned they were gone as the wind.

"One choco-chip latte, grande please.." I said to the lady, I was about to bring out money from my wallet when someone from behind me handed over a 5oo peso bill and said to the lady "Make that two, okay?." then he flashed his charmingly smile.

The lady smiled, and repeated the order, I was about to protest when Jake said "My treat or think of it as a nice-to-meet-you drink" and he smiled that crazy smile or smirk of his that I grew to like even just seeing it once or I did see that smile before? 

"Thanks, I'll treat you next time!" I smiled shyly.

"Nah, don't bother. Just seeing you smile is already a treat and being next to you is an added bonus." Jake said with a wink.

That's when I begun  to laugh, "That's something cheesy, I didn't see you as a guy using cheesy quotes."

"You didn't?why?" his eyebrows were raise but he was smiling.

"Well, you seem to quiet, and reserve and like a boy next door kind of guy.."

"Oh, really? I didn't know I express that aura, normally that is Dmax and I'm the bad boy kind. That is what the ladies usually say."

"Well, now talking with you, it seems they are right, I hope you won't be mad but how many girl's hearts have you broken?" I said that as a joke and because I felt really comfortable talking with him and maybe teasing him a bit to see if he's short-tempered. (And i guess I'm learning how to flirt back..hehe)

Jake's about to answer my question when my name was called by the bartender and our drinks are already done.He went to get the drinks, and when he returned we're  both on the verge of saying something to each other when a phone's ringtone interrupted the moment.

And taa-daa it's my phone. I don't know if I felt relief or I'm feeling anxious that I wouldnt know what he will say. So I answered the call, it was my friend and it's an emergency.

"Hey, sorry about that, and forget what I'd asked about earlier, it's just a joke.. it was really nice meeting you, Jake, see you soon..byeee!"

I quickly made my way to the door, then I remember I didn't thank Jake for the free treat. So I turned around, but he isnt there where I last so him, so I decided to just tell him thanks next time and rushed to go see my friend.

I face-palmed myself.. What am I thinking, why did this words form such thoughts.. "Arghh" I heaved a heavy sighed. I mean her question is just asking for a number, why did i came up with these....

"Alot. But If your thinking that I'll break your heart then my answer is No, I won't be that guy who broke your heart and left you alone. I'll be the one who's gonna protect you and love you with all my heart forever."

It doesn't make sense right? it's a good thing that a call interrupted that moment and that I didnt say anything more. I need to rethink what I've just thought. It isn't me Or is it me?

After gathering my thoughts I went to the other side where Dmax went.
