"North City, 10:00 P.M"
In the hillside community of Oakwood Heights, a two story house with a garage stands on the end of the block. Inside of said house, a group of eight Celldroids armed with XM-56 Proton Rifles patrol the interior, carefully their scanning surroundings for signs of intruders. All of a sudden, a small object falls, catching the androids' attention as they walk over to investigate. Upon further inspection, the Celldroids immediately freeze at the sight of a Flash Grenade in front of them before it detonates, generating a bright flash of light.
With their adversaries stunned, X, Gigan, and Kiryu drop down from the ceiling.
Left and right, Celldroids were slashed, smashed, and blasted to bits.
The two remaining Celldroids take aim and charge up their rifles, preparing to fire.
Titano, wearing his SWAT uniform drops down, landing on the first Celldroid before punching the second's head clean off.
Titano then stomps the final Celldroid's head into pieces before walking over to his team.
X: Nice work, team! Now let's try and find that device!
Kiryu: I'm on it!
Kiryu activates his X-ray and scans the house's interior for a moment until he finds something inside of a defreezer in the kitchen nearby.
Kiryu: *Points to defreezer* There!
X: The defreezer?
Kiryu: That's what my scanners tell me!
Titano: You sure they aren't faulty?
Kiryu: I'm positive!
X: Then let's check to be sure!
X walks over to the defreezer and opens it, finding a pair of stairs hidden inside.
X: Well I'll be triple dipped!
Gigan, Titano, and Kiryu gather around the defreezer with X.
Titano: Stairs? In a defreezer?
Gigan: We'd have been here until the crack of down before we ever found this without Kiryu's aid, and thank we should thank him for!
Kiryu: You're welcome!
X, Gigan, and Titano hop into the defreezer while Kiryu closes the lid behind them before following his team down.
Titano steps on the back of Gigan's cape, causing him to nearly fall and face-plant on the stairs. Titano immediately reaches down and catches Gigan as he nearly fell before helping him back to his feet. Gigan looks back, growling in anger as Titano attempts to laugh it off only to catch an elbow to the stomach.
X: Anyone have any idea why Cell would place a device like a Seismic Generator in a place like Oakwood Heights?
Kiryu: Given the fact of what the Seismic Generators are capable of, I'm guessing that Cell placed one here in a hillside community like this in hopes of generating a powerful landslide that'll wipe out the suburban neighborhoods below and wipe thousands of lives off the census for good.
Titano: Heh. Gotta admit! Cell's a master at his craft, whether we'd like to admit it or not!
Kiryu: Yeah, a craft that involves stealing, hacking, manipulation, harassment, and most importantly, worldwide domination and or genocide, depending on whatever his endgame is!
X: Well, whatever it may be, we'll be ready for anything that comes!
A few minutes later, X and his team arrive in the basement where they immediately stop in their tracks and find themselves surrounded by up to two dozen armed Celldroids.
