This is part one. The retreat, spaces that I'll be referencing this whole chapter in the MM. Grab something, and get cozy because this will be a long one. This chapter should be in 3 weeks time span. In a previous chapter, I stated that she was 19 and then said 13 weeks. She's 19 weeks and by the end of this, she'll be 21.

Lay wiped her face as the black car pulled up to the Prestigious Mental Health Retreat. Golden turning her back on Lay, gave her all the ammunition she could've needed to get into the car. She understood why she got back on the plane and left her here by herself. Lay respected it.

The car came to a stop in front of the building. There was a water fountain that was so calming Lay wanted to just jump into it. The driver opened the door for her and grabbed the bags.

"Welcome to Prestigious! I'm Raquel the leader of this retreat. You must be Chalynn?" Raquel smiled widely, Lay looked at the person in front of her. They were transgender.

"Yes, I am. Thank you this retreat is beautiful. Well at least from what I can see on the outside. I love the fountain." Lay briefly looked over her shoulder and pointed with her thumb.

"Very welcome. Here's a special piece of change, you'll toss this into the fountain with your wishes, hopes, and dreams that you want to take away from this retreat. You can do it today or tomorrow. Here's the key to your room. You're the last one to arrive so once you get settled in we will get you down to meet them. I can walk you up if you want?" They handed Lay her things as the doorman grabbed the bags.

The scenery was beautiful, the air smelled salty from the beach.

"Yes please." Lay took one final look outside before she allowed herself to be ushered inside the resort. Looking around, the pictures didn't do it justice. She could only see a little bit of the resort before she had to get on the elevator.

"You're on the 5th floor. This year, we decided not to do roommates because it doesn't quite help you to go from possibly sharing a space at home to coming here and sharing another space. You need this time to yourself to grow." Raquel stated as they pressed the number five on the elevator.

"I understand. I've been sharing a space my whole life so, I'm excited to have my own here for these three weeks." The elevator dinged and they both got off turning right down the hallway. It was quiet for the most part except for when they passed the different rooms.

"Here you are, my love." Raquel showed her the room at the end of the hall. Lay sighed before taking a deep breath and entering the room.

"Thank you." Raquel watched Lay look around the room taking in the scenery.

"I'll let you settle in but, we're having a welcome meeting downstairs in 15 minutes. We're meeting in the lobby." Lay nodded as the doorman dropped her bags and left. Raquel looked around one last time before leaving too.

Lay sighed sitting on the little couch by her bed. She checked her phone a few times and sent out a group text to everybody letting them know that she was safe.

Lay was the last one to get down to the lobby because the elevator was overpacked so she took the stairs. When she finally made it down, all eyes were on her.
