Savanaclaw is a dorm based on the King of Beasts' spirit of persistence. Persistently getting on Yuu nerve. "Cub..." Scar said. Yuu just sighs.
"Cub..." Scar began, addressing Yuu, who merely sighed in anticipation of what was to come.
"Not a chance," Leona declared firmly, locking eyes with Yuu, his expression grim and unyielding.
"You didn't even pause before answering..." Jack remarked, but Leona swiftly interjected, pointing at Grim.
"No pets are allowed in the dorm. They shed all over the place," he stated matter-of-factly.
"First of all, I AIN'T NO PET. Second of all, I DO NOT! Aren't you guys, like, a billion times furrier than me?!" Grim retorted, his tiny feet stomping in frustration.
"This is about you, not us," Ruggie chimed in, appearing somewhat bored by the ongoing debate.
Leona continued, exasperation evident in his tone: "For one thing, our empty rooms haven't been cleaned in months. Dorm students use 'em as a dumping ground for their junk. Where are we supposed to put up two extra freeloaders?"
"Ooh, I know! Why don't you just bunk with 'em in your room, Leona?" Ruggie quipped with a mischievous smirk.
As Yuu attempted to respond in their mind, 'Father, you better not laugh-' they were rudely cut off by their father's laughter. 'HAHA, Horn lady, pay up,' their father chimed in. Annoyed by the interruption, Yuu maintained their usual resting-bitch face, not giving their father the satisfaction of a reaction.
While everyone else appeared shocked by the audacity of Ruggie's suggestion, Leona's response was far from subtle. He glared at Ruggie and threatened, "Ruggie, if you keep flapping your lips, you're about to find 'em sewn shut."
But Ruggie, undeterred, continued with a sly grin, "Think of it this way, Leona. You're used to having people do everything for ya, right? What if we put 'em in charge of serving you instead of charging for room and board? Seems like a win-win to me."
Leona's frustration grew, and he clenched his fists, growling, "Grr... Ruggie, you little..." It seemed a confrontation was imminent.
"Hey, I still ain't fully healed up from the interdorm Spelldrive tournament, y'know?" Ruggie began, his tone more earnest now. "I dunno if it was that major magic I chugged a whole potion to use or what, but hard work's been wearin' me down more than ever lately. And if I might remind you, Leona, I busted my tail for you. So I'm thinkin' I'd heal a whole lot faster if I had these guys waiting on you for a while!" Ruggie argued, trying to justify his suggestion.
"Tch. You're a regular mercenary sometimes," Leona grumbled, clearly not thrilled with the idea. Neither of them bothered to ask for Yuu's opinion, which left Yuu contemplating the notion of finding a new home for themselves.
"Hey now, I haven't said a single dishonest word! Shyeheehee," Ruggie chuckled, seemingly unfazed by Leona's skepticism.
"Maybe, but I don't let just anyone cozy up to me like that. Hey, boys! C'mere a sec!" Leona called out to their other dormmates, prompting Yuu to sigh in exasperation. It appeared that conflicts and disagreements were a common occurrence in this peculiar school, and Yuu couldn't help but wonder why they seemed to be surrounded by such chaos, even more so than in their own family.
"Fight my dorm's students. If you win, I'll let you stick around as gophers. I don't care if it IS just for three days. Savanaclaw's got no use for dead weight, no matter how short or long your stay," Leona declared, pointing to the three individuals Yuu would have to face in this unexpected challenge. Yuu's heart sank at the thought.
