Time until Azul's contract expires: two days

--------------------------------------------------------------

Yuu strolled down the second-floor exterior hallway with the trio, learning that while they were babysitting Cheka, the boys had attempted to break into the museum without them and snap a photo. Unsurprisingly, their plan had failed, leaving them with the daunting task of voiding an unbreakable contract. Yuu couldn't help but consider consulting their mother, as octopus merpeople with experience in contracts tended to think similarly.

Before Yuu could even share their plan with the boys, they were quickly dragged into attempting to break into the Mostro Lounge VIP room. What a fun turn of events!

Did it work? Of course not. Azul had caught them like fish in a net. Yuu just sighed, feeling exasperated. They were growing tired of all this drama. Without a word, Yuu swiftly exited the room.

"Hey, Yuu!" "Yuu, where are you going?" "Henchman, come back!"

Yuu ignored the trio's calls and continued walking onto the stage. They had had enough of this school, the constant bickering, and the senseless fighting. Now, where was that microphone? Ah, there it was.

"Ma, are you ready to make your grand entrance?" Yuu asked, their gaze fixed on the confused faces of the trio, while Azul's expression turned to one of shock. The anticipation was almost as enjoyable as the performance itself.

'My little octopus, what are you planning on doing?' their mother whispered in their head.

"Something I should have done earlier. Let's see if this can return your mortal body to you, Ma," Yuu replied, holding the microphone in front of them. The people of this world might have forgotten them, but the sea and the land still remembered their name. With a sigh, Yuu began to hum the familiar tune of "I Want the Good Times Back."

"What are they doing?" A voice in the crowd exclaimed, filled with panic. "Jade! Floyd!" Azul's clear voice rang out, but Yuu was focused solely on their task. This was about them now. It Yuu time!

~ When daddy dear was floating on his deathbed
He divvied up the kingdom into two
I got his magic shell
And half the sea as well
His trident went to-- ~

Yuu locked eyes with Azul, their laughter ringing out before they spoke again, their voice laced with eerie confidence. "You know to whom his trident was bestowed, don't you, my dear babies?"

As Yuu uttered those words, Flotsam and Jetsam, the ominous eels, materialized and began to swim around them. Suddenly, the world around them began to shift and transform, morphing into a vast and empty ocean, stretching out endlessly in all directions.

This deep and empty ocean was like an abyss, where the inky blackness seemed to absorb all light, and the water itself appeared almost like a translucent void, with faint, ghostly ripples moving across its surface. The sensation of being surrounded by this eerie, boundless expanse sent shivers down the spine. The inky black waters seemed to stretch on forever, the only illumination coming from the faint, ghostly glow of bioluminescent creatures swimming in the depths. The eerie silence was punctuated only by the occasional creaking of imaginary shipwrecks and ghostly whispers of the sea.

Azul, now standing in this surreal underwater landscape, gazed around in awe and trepidation. "What... what is this place?" he stammered, his usual confident demeanor replaced by uncertainty. The rest of group said nothing.
