Yuu awakened in their bed, the gentle night sky's soft illumination gracing their face, disturbed by the abrupt wooden door slam. "Take your cat," demanded a student from Scarabia, as they flung Grim in Yuu's direction. Moments later, the sound of the door locking echoed through the room. Yuu sighed, resigning themselves to their current situation.
"Alright, the Ramshackle visitors are safely contained in their room," someone remarked.
"Let's go check on the other rooms," suggested another person.
A Scarabia Student lamented, "I swear, there's been a daily escape lately. Housewardem Kalim is quite displeased. He's even stopped heeding Vice Housewarden Jamil's advice."
Another Scarabia Student chimed in, "How much longer must we endure this confinement? I just want to return home."
"Oh, stop complaining," retorted a third student. "I too wish I could spend the holidays with my family."
"Are they gone? That afternoon training was so brutal, my meal was ready to come up the same way it went down. By the way, you missed it; Kalim was about to storm down to our room to wake you up, but Jamil managed to restrain him before he made a 'stupid choice.' We know the Headmage won't be of any help here. So, it's up to us to get out of this mess. Fortunately, you've got my towering intellect over here. I've got a foolproof prison break plan ready to go," Grim said, shaking Yuu awake.
"Towering intellect, huh? Okay, I'll bite. Let's hear it," Yuu replied as they sat up.
"Heh heh heh. I swiped our escape tool this morning. Behold: our ticket to freedom!" Grim proudly displayed a spoon. Yuu looked at it in confusion, wondering where Grim had hidden a spoon without anyone noticing. His fur must be thicker than they thought.
"We'll use this bad boy to dig our way through the floor, one spoonful at a time!" Grim declared with confidence.
Yuu sighed and said, "That's going to take WAY too much time and energy. We could get this done faster if I just sing."
"No, no! I promised Ace I wouldn't let you sing to avoid trouble," Grim protested, stomping his feet. "Watch. They used to call me Grim the Digger back home. Leave this to me while you keep looking out!" Grim got to work, digging away.
*Dig, dig, dig...*
Normally Yuu would have interjected with questions or comments, but it took a while for the prison break to progress, so let's skip to the exciting part.

Yuu and Grim soared through the night sky on their magical carpet, the wind rushing through their hair as they attempted to escape the pursuing Scarabia dorm students. The students were hot on their heels, using their own magic to chase them down.
As the Scarabia students closed in, Grim summoned his fire magic and hurled fiery projectiles towards their pursuers. However, he quickly discovered that his fire had a limited range. His fiery blasts fell short, exploding harmlessly in the distance.
"We've got to stay ahead of them, Grim!" Yuu shouted over the wind, urging the magical carpet to pick up speed. The chase had turned into an epic battle of wits and magic.
The pursuing students weren't giving up easily. They cast spells that created gusts of wind, trying to destabilize Yuu and Grim's magical carpet. Yuu skillfully maneuvered, dodging the obstacles and maintaining their lead.
