Dazai's official introduction went smoothly. Most of the Saints welcomed the new member. Even fellow musicians celebrated the arrival of the new Angel!

The Decay of Angels made headlines every day since Dazai first sang with the members for weeks on end. Headlines were just the start of the ongoing fame for Dazai though. He was constantly asked to do interviews and photoshoots by himself–Fyodor being by his side every step of the way.

It felt odd to Dazai that he was only getting solo activities for quite some time hence his persistence in having the other Angels join him. Dazai's main point was that the recognition he was getting should be extended towards the other Angels as well because that would gain them more popularity–Toya was certainly convinced and Dazai was correct. The more Dazai got offers, the more the other Angels got offers too. Companies quickly realized that Dazai wasn't going to be interviewed or have a photoshoot by himself anymore; he would only do so with his dear members.

"Thank you all for coming!" Ranpo said. "I'm so excited to talk to you lovely Angels!"

"Thank you for having us, Ranpo," Fyodor replied.

The crowds loudly cheered for the Decay of Angels. Each Angel had a smile on their face, waving towards the crowd earnestly.

Ranpo waited for the crowd to settle down before saying, "I won't bore you Angels with questions you've been asked way too many times before. But I am going to ask some fresh new questions that your lovely Saints have been dying to know the answers to!"

"Ooo! Okay! I wonder what you have in store for us Ranpo-san!" Sigma laughed. The crowd cheered after Sigma's words like he said the most important thing in the world.

"My first question is...! What really happened to your previous lead singer?" Ranpo asked.

Dazai spoke first, "I don't know what happened so I'll have to leave this question to the others!"

"Oh I see, I see! The other Angels didn't tell you then?" Ranpo said. Dazai shook his head–Fyodor didn't tell him the exact reason. Only that they had conflicting views. "Hmmm I wonder why...?"

"That's simple. He is a criminal," Fyodor said.

Dazai's eyes widened in shock and most definitely in horror. He would have never thought that the previous lead singer was in jail!

"He isn't in jail because the victims didn't want to report the matter," Sigma said with heavy eyes.

"We–we don't condone any of his actions and that is why he was immediately kicked out when we found out the truth," Nikolai said.

The crowd went silent–so did Ranpo, obviously for effect. He had already guessed the previous lead singer was not a decent human being. Ranpo only asked the question for the rest of the idiotic population. Oh! And of course, for the popularity.

"I'm a bit afraid to ask what he did..." Dazai said, breaking the silence.

"It's probably best we Saints don't know," Ranpo said.

"Probably."

Other than the first question, the rest of the interview went smoothly.

"What's wrong, Osamu?" Fyodor asked.

He sat right beside Dazai in the break room. The brunette's mind was scattered and Dazai was desperately trying to collect every piece.

Fyodor called out again and again, but to no avail, Dazai stayed deep in thought. It was only when Fyodor gently shook his lover that Dazai came back to the present.
