I stepped outside after saying bye to my mom.
The warm breeze feels nice against your legs as you start to walk down the driveway. You
finally make it to the sidewalk and start walking. You've been walking for about 15 minutes when you finally realize that you're lost. You check your phone to use the GPS, but, to your surprise, your phone is dead. Just as you were about to start freaking out, you hear some kid yell, "Watch out!" Before you can even turn around, you find yourself on the curb with your phone in the grass and a bike on top of you.
You spin your head around only to find a boy your age, maybe 15 or 16, staring at you. He had fiery curls, a freckled face, and silver braces. "I said, watch out, you stupid asshole!" You stare at him in shock as he lifts his bike off of you.
As you stand up, you limp a little, brushing yourself off. You start you yell at him, "If anything You're the A-Hole! You told me to watch out at the last second!" He gets ready to say something, but just as he opened his mouth to speak, two other guys came over, riding their bikes. one with a red hoodie and yellow cargo pants, he also had a little bit of orange hair sticking out of his hoodie. The other guy had a purple sweater and gray jeans.
The freckled kid immediately turned to face his friends and exhaled. "What the hell is going on?" the guy with the red hoodie said. Before Scott could even reply, I yelled, "Oh! So your name is Scott?" He looked mad as he turned to face me. Well, Scott, you are a jerk!"
I pushed past him, but before I could walk away, one of his friends grabbed my wrist and said, "Hey, Im sorry about whatever just happened here, but if you need us to help you or something...( he looks down at my scratched legs) we don't mind helping you."
I think about it for a good 3 seconds till I finally give an answer: "Sure, if you don't mind, could you call my mom?" Scott scoffs and I shoot him an angry look. His friend says "sure" and digs in his pocket and takes out his phone. He gives it to you, and you start texting your mom.
As soon as my mom saw the text, she replied, OMG, OMG, OMW." I gave the kid his phone back and smiled as he took it. My mom pulled up shortly after, and I limped into the car, looking out the window at a group of three boys and briefly making eye contact with Scott as we drove off.
"Y/N! Were you limping? Oh, my baby!" My mom said, "What in the world were you doing all the way down there?" I looked at my mom as she was focusing on the road and told her what happened. As soon as you were finished telling her how some kid hit you with a bike, your mom blurted out, "Oh! You mean that boy with the red curls? He's a cutie!" You shoot up, "Mom! He hit me with his bike!" Mom picked on me the whole car ride.
Short chapter- comment if I should publish the next part early.☝️
