Chapter 9
2006 – Chris’s POV
Walking into Maths I take my normal spot down towards the back of the room, furthest away from the teacher. The hottest red head to ever grace this school, Samantha, is sitting just in front of me. The small of her back is visible between the gap in the chair and the little dimples there make me want to see a whole lot more of her then should be allowed. I instantly know that this is not going to be a constructive lesson. I will spend more time day dreaming about her and what’s under our horrible school uniform, then I will paying attention to the school work.
Why are there so many god damn beautiful ladies at this school? Can’t they just give a guy a break?
Speaking of beautiful ladies, Lou has just dumped her self rather ungracefully next to me. It’s rather frustrating that Anthony has his eyes set on her even if he doesn’t realise it yet, I wouldn’t have minded trying to woo Louise. I think she would be a challenge, unlike half the girls at this school. Despite what most people think, behind that hard “tough” exterior is a pretty amazing girl. She has changed so much since primary school, I’m not even sure she is aware just how much. In primary school she was a bit nerdy, wore dorky glasses, read lots of books at school and always had the right answer in class. She was nice to everyone back then. I’m still not sure why High School changed her so much, but when you have a proper conversation with her, you can see that the girl she used to be is still there, just below the surface. The fact that she is a challenge, that she became beautiful, grew a back bone and developed boobs. That right there equals hotness - What’s not to love about that? Everybody loves boobs.
Glancing over at Lou, I can tell something is up. She has this dreamy faraway look on her face, but looks like she has been crying. Well, I know she has been crying – it’s the dreamy faraway look I am concerned about. That look is not typical for her, I actually don’t think I’ve ever seen it before. Ripping out a sheet of paper from my work book, I scrunch is up and throw it straight at her head – Not hard considering she is sitting next to me.
“Christopher Ian Hale you did not just throw a paper ball at my head” Hahaha, the look on her face as she slowly turns towards me has me holding my stomach and laughing. Lou always has the best reactions.
Shooting her an apologetic look, I smile and pat her on the head while stifling another round of laughter.
She sighs loudly “Chris! I’m not a dog, don’t pat me! What is wrong with you today?”
Laughing again “I’m sorry, you’re just so easy to rile and up, and today you look so out of it I wanted to get your attention.” Groaning slightly as she back hands me in the stomach, I simply chuckle again. She is so easy to aggravate, I had forgotten how much fun it could be to tease her!
Lou went a bit funny on us at the end of last year. She slowly started to pull away from the majority of the group. No one knows why or what happened, she just did it. Didn’t offer up an explanation, just went cold. Everyone tried to speak to her and work out what was wrong, but sometimes with this girl it’s like poking a sleeping lion with a giant stick while you’re trapped in the angry lion’s cage. Basically, it’s a really dumb move to make. Before that all happened, I’d like to say we were good friends, she doesn’t take things as seriously as other females so you can muck around and have fun with her. No one still knows what actually happened or what went wrong, but the last month she seems to have opened back up a bit. She’s certainly talking to me, and appears to be making an effort with the group. I just hoped this debacle with her punk ass boyfriend doesn’t set her back to the way she used to be. It has been nice having the old Lou back again.

Novela JuvenilI'd like to say this isn't just another cliche story about two kids falling in love, but I'd be lying. Majorly lying. 7 years, a few heart wrenching moments, a million amazing memories later and I have just said 'I Do' to the most wonderful man...
