"Park Jimin, what are you doing? Do you know how horrible that woman is?" Jeong Jaehyun bit out, his eyes dancing with disdain for the woman wrapped securely in Park Jimin's hold.

"I’ll gouge out your eyes, keep it to yourself." Park Jimin's voice was cold as ice and rigid as stone. He acted as if he didn’t hear the clear warning in Jeong Jaehyun's voice.

Rosé Yang's was surprised by his words. She didn’t expect him to come to her saving grace twice and even ignore his friend’s warning.

A part of her wondered why he would do something like this. A small part of her agreed with Jeong Jaehyun's words. She was nothing but a horrible woman with sleeves tainted by horrible deeds.

Doesn’t Park Jimin think she’s a nuisance to his side? A man with his status and power should be seen with a beautiful woman of impeccable status, not someone like that.

No one knew it, but Rosé Yang hated herself more than she could ever hate anyone in this world.

"Park Jimin, you can’t be serious." Jeong Jaehyun crossed his arms with a scowl.

He couldn’t believe his friend would quickly abandon him. Little did Jeong Jaehyun know Park Jimin never considered him a friend. Because Jeong Jaehyun was usually outgoing to people that weren’t Rosé Yang, he thought everyone liked him. Being the male lead, of course, he was expecting the same friendly treatment he always gave out too many of his peers.

He was used to Park Jimin's cold nature but never thought about how Park Jimin truly considered him. Truthfully, Park Jimin disliked Jeong Jaehyun because he always followed him around like an obnoxious fly that wouldn’t leave his side. Their friendship was always one-sided, but Jeong Jaehyun was too blinded by Park Jimin's wealth and power to realize that.

"Did I stutter?" Park Jimin's question came out like an threatening statement.

Jeong Jaehyun scowled at Park Jimin's unusually cold tone. His eyes trailed towards Rosé Yang who was secured in his arms, the jacket served as a clear warning as to whose protection she was under.

He stared at her porcelain white skin. The more he looked at her, the more he felt the urge to end her. How dare she strut back into his life and try to ruin the relationship between him and Park Jimin? This bitch was good at nothing but ruining lives!

Upon noticing his hateful glares, Rosé Yang raised her head to fiercely glare back at him.

A soft, doubtful voice was enough to cut the thick and heavy tension. "J-Jaehyun...?" Chou Tzuyu called out, her voice barely above a whisper. She stood by the doorway of the bathroom, nervously holding her dress.

Her eyes darted between the stand down of two of this country’s most powerful men. She gulped at the crackle of tension in the atmosphere. ’Did I interrupt something?’ She asked herself.

"You’ve been crying," Jeong Jaehyun frowned at the red rimming Chou Tzuyu's eyes.

She glanced at her hands, her hair falling to her face like a beautiful curtain. She sniffled and her shoulders shook. "I-it was just dust in my eyes." She whispered, not wanting to lift her head. She was scared that if she looked him in the eye, that he would see past her mask.

At the pitiful sight of his lover, Jeong Jaehyun's gaze softened. He temporarily forgot about Park Jimin and Rosé Yang.

"What’s wrong?" He asked, walking towards the door. He pulled her into a gentle hug and soon Chou Tzuyu was a crying mess. Her pale fingers tightly gripped his white button-up as droplets fell from her eyes.

Rosé Yang couldn’t bear to see the loving couple any longer and decided it was time to look away.

She turned to walk off, but a heavy force was holding her in place. To be more specific, a hand was securely wrapped around her shoulders. She looked up to meet Park Jimin's brooding stare. She tried her hardest to not drown in the pool of ink known as his eyes.

Now that she was standing closer to him and the light formed a halo over his face, she saw how tired he looked. He had dark circles underneath his eyes from staying up late and working on his company matters. Combined with his slight insomnia, it was hard for him to catch a wink of sleep.

Unconsciously, she reached up to grasp his cheeks. Park Jimin stiffened at the sudden touch.

"Ah, s-sorry." Rosé Yang stuttered, immediately retracting her hand before Park Jimin could reach out to grab it and hold it in place.

And within a single blink, she had slipped from his arms and fled down the hallways.

Park Jimin blinked in confusion, running a hand through his hair. The idea seemed so cheesy to him, but was also lost within her eyes that seemed to shimmer and dance with enough brilliance to rival the Universe.

He breathed out and stared at the retreating form of his partner. Chuckling to himself at how fast she fled, he took his time walking to her. Besides, she couldn’t run very far from him. His legs were much longer than hers and she was trying her best to stomp away in unbelievably tall heels. He was surprised her ankle didn’t snap from how fast she was trying to walk away.

Watching her try to run and escape from his wide, swift strides was funny. He didn’t notice her torn dress until his eyes trailed to the exposed skin of her slender legs. His stare became dark and his eyes became stormy upon seeing her ripped dress.

Who did that to her? Was it Chou Tzuyu?

He took a quick glance to the loving couple but paused when he made eye contact with Chou Tzuyu. She looked away so quickly, Park Jimin nearly missed it. But he saw it clear as day, she was glaring at Rosé Yang's disappearing form.

Park Jimin frowned at the realization. He pulled out his phone to send a text to poor Kim Namjoon who now had to work overtime.

[Yama King: I want a full report of Chou Tzuyu by tomorrow morning.]

Kim Namjoon had just stepped out of the shower, ready for a pleasurable night with his wife. When he saw the message, he nearly cried.

"Why tonight out of all days?! I prepped for an entire hour and now it has to go to waste!" Kim Namjoon cursed his Boss to the depths of Hell, but immediately regretted it because then it meant he would be dirt-poor. His Boss may be overly demanding, but he paid his workers really good.

’Someone pity me!’ He cried to himself, putting his robe back on. He gingerly grabbed his laptop and debated the idea of tossing it out the window.

After a few seconds of internally arguing with himself, Kim Namjoon sighed and turned his laptop back on.

While Kim Namjoon pitied himself all night long, he didn’t know his wife had long fallen asleep waiting for him. Originally, she wanted to have some fun, but he had taken an entire hour to get ready and she had fallen asleep within the hour he took to prep his body.

Regardless if Park Jimin had sent him the text or not, Kim Namjoon wouldn’t have gotten any steamy action tonight.
