She jumped in surprise when she heard the knock and attempted to push him away. Her eyes grew wide as she struggled to leave his arms.

"Relax, it's alright." Park Jimin gently ran a hand through her hair in hopes of calming her down.

She ignored his hand and examined his appearance. With their disheveled appearance, it would be easy for anyone to find out how intimate they had been in his office. She attempted to fix his crooked tie even if she had no idea how to, making it messier as her panic grew.

"You're doing it all wrong." He chuckled, watching her struggle and scramble to adjust it. He clasped his hand over hers, guiding her fingers to properly fix it.

"What are you so afraid of?" He asked her, watching as she attempted to smoothen out his slightly wrinkled clothes.

"I don't want rumors to get out about us doing dirty things in your office. People might think I seduced you into collaborating on a project with Yang Corporation!" She said, referring to the fact that she walked into Park Enterprise without an appointment and even asked the receptionist to deliver an envelope to the CEO.

"I will fire anyone who dares to badmouth you. But I quite like the idea of you seducing me to accept proposals. How about we start now?" He wrapped his arms around her waist, tugging her to him with a mischievous grin on his face. He bent down for one last kiss but she roughly pressed her palm to his lips and pushed his face away.

"Let go of me and let the employee in. It must be something urgent." She said and pushed his chest for distance.

"It better be." He grumbled something under his breath. He looked like a spoiled brat who has finally been told 'no' for the first time in his life.

"I hope you know you're the only one who dares to treat me like that." He sulked as he released her.

"You've already told me that." She chuckled at his childish behavior, before tiptoeing to give his head a light pat and ruffle his hair. "You're so spoiled." She teased, picking up her purse as he walked her to the door.

But before she could grab the handle, he suddenly hugged her from behind. She nearly groaned in annoyance at how clingy he was. "Park Jimin, don't keep your employee waiting-"

"I can't wait to see you after work." He rested his chin in the spot where her neck met her shoulders. She could feel his incredibly soft and silky hair brush against her face.

Her eyes softened at his voice. He sounded like a child neglected by his mother. "Okay, I'll see you then." She fondly said, a tiny smile on her face.

Upon receiving her confirmation, he finally released her. She opened the door to the sight of Kang Seulgi, impatiently tapping her foot on the floor as she held piles of papers in her hand. On top of her pile was a binder that looked as if it would slip any moment now.

When Rosè Yang made eye contact with the secretary, she suddenly remembered the scene she had witnessed earlier. Although she knew Park Jimin's feelings towards her were sincere, this secretary was looking like a white lotus. She held the piles as if it would fall any minute without the amazing support of the male lead.

Rosè Yang's dislike for his secretary increased.

Kang Seulgi wasn't surprised to see her. During her early days as Park Jimin's secretary, she used to burn up with jealousy during the rare times Kim Namjoon discreetly brought women into the CEO's office. But after so many women, she became used to it.

In order to survive in his world, she was wise enough to not mix her personal emotions with work. She would mask her jealousy with a polite smile and bury the animosity in her eyes with a nonchalant stare.

To her, this woman was just another fling for her boss.

She didn't know why he decided to start doing seeing women in his office again. This occurrence used to only happen during late nights at the office, not in broad daylight and during work hours! On top of it, the women that came and went were always impeccably dressed, whereas this woman, was dressed too casually!

A sense of possessiveness washed over Rosè Yang when she noticed the secretary take a sneaky glance at Park Jimin. Blinded by her emotions, she suddenly turned around, grabbed Park Jimin's tie, tugged his face to her height, and pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"Darling, I almost forgot our goodbye kiss." She said, her actions and words catching him by surprise.

He blanked out, a dazed expression on his face.

She immediately regretted her actions when she saw that he didn't look particularly angry, but he also didn't look happy. What if he got turned off by this petty possessive side of her?

Feeling dejected at his response, she hurriedly said, "I'll see you later—" She took one step forward, but yelped in surprise when he suddenly yanked her back to him. He lifted her chin with one finger and pressed a butterfly kiss upon her lips.

"I'll see you later, my dear." He confirmed, bringing his lips to her ear and squeezing her waist. "For sure." He whispered, kissing the spot behind her ears.

A tiny and fond smile bloomed on her face at his words. "Okay." She responded, hurriedly leaving the room before he changed his mind on letting her go.

Kang Seulgi kept a professional and rigid composure, even when her heart prickled with pain. Her facade never dropped. She smiled and politely bowed her head when the woman stumbled past her in a rush to leave.

She knew for a fact that while Park Jimin slept with women, he would rarely see them again. On top of that, he made them swore secrecy and would never allow them to voluntarily kiss him. How could she freely kiss him without consequences and do so with his office door wide open?!

Her eyes flickered when she remembered something. Was this the same woman who had appeared in the recent headlines with him?

"President Park, these were the reports you requested from this morning." She said, stepping into the room and closing the door behind her. Her lips twitched in disappointment when she noticed he was slightly dazed and staring at the door, completely ignoring her.

"President Park...?" She repeated, calling for his name again. Her heart ached when he continued to ignore her, but she remained professional and kept her voice neutral.

Park Jimin finally came back to reality when Kang Seulgi blocked the door with her body, using it as a distraction. "Place the reports on my desk." He coldly said.

"Yes, sir." She took a few steps forward and struggled in her brand new heels. She didn't have the chance to break into it yet and nearly stumbled over her footing just as the papers and binder in her arms were able to fall onto the floor.

"I'm so sorry—"

Without looking at her, Park Jimin wordlessly grabbed the heavy binder and a few packets from the pile.

"Thank you." She warmly smiled, despite the fact that he had turned around. Staring at his retreating back, wide and firm, she felt her heart skip a beat for him. Even when he didn't bother to look at her, she still naively loved him.

When nearly every man in the office would kiss the floor she walked on, trip and fight over themselves to help her, and do everything for her attention, he refused to even look at her longer than needed. It was one of the reasons why her heart rapidly beats for him — he was technicolor in a world of black and white. The one man who was different from the rest.
