"Park Jimin, my granddaughter is very precious to me." Yang Marco finally spoke up after a very long silence. His heart felt heavy when he thought back to the image of a lifeless Rosé, whose eyes were so blank, it scared him.

Park Jimin felt the weight of Yang Marco's words. The man rarely acknowledged or cared for his kin and for him to do so, he should be very attached to them. But Park Jimin was oblivious to what Yang Marco was implying.

"I know. I won’t do anything to her. I will only send her home." Park Jimin reassured him.

Yang Marco raised a brow when he suddenly realized something. This Park Jimin...he wasn’t aware of his blatant feelings towards his granddaughter?

He was amused at the idea. A man strapped with a degree in psychology wasn’t able to understand his own feelings? Yang Marco nearly laughed.

"Alright then. I expect not a single hair to be missing from her head." He mused.

"Of course." Park Jimin said before hanging up.

Li Xuan who was watching the entire scene unfold in the car wasn’t surprised to see Yang Marco place his trust within Park Jimin.

Park Enterprise had stepped in when Yang Corporation had suffered a big blow when the ties with Jeong Corporation was severed.

Despite his young age, Park Jimin was a very reliable man known for his seemingly clean reputation. Besides, he had never done anything to violate Yang Marco's trust. But that didn’t mean he would never destroy it...

Rosé Yang woke up in her room. She tiredly rubbed her eyes while climbing out of bed and grabbing her phone. She realized the time and noticed it was ten at night. Yawning and stretching, she grabbed her towel and decided to take a shower.

When she walked to the bathroom, her entire body froze. The towel in her hand fell onto the floor as she frantically looked at her surroundings. Her eyes darted from the white leather couch to the marble countertop, then to the piano, and back to her door.

This was her house alright, but how did she get back here? Rosé Yang's eyes grew wide as her heart began to race.

She remembered falling asleep in a car ride with Park Jimin, so how did she end up inside her house?

She doesn’t remember giving him the passcode to her door. Then how was he able to carry her in?

Instantly, Rosé Yang ran back to her room to pick up her phone. When she scrolled through the contacts to look for Lalisa Park, she nearly dropped it. Right above Lalisa Park's contact was Park Jimin's name.

Confused and surprised, she stared at the contact. She knew she didn’t add him on her phone, so how did his phone number get in there?

Swallowing her hesitation, Rosé Yang decided it was smarter to call the man himself. It rang a few times and at the last ring, he finally picked up.

"How do you know my passcode? How did you unlock my phone?" She didn’t bother giving him a proper greeting.

"I don’t know what you’re talking about." He cheekily said, playing dumb even when he clearly schemed to be able to do those things.

"You’re shameless and-"

"What’s wrong with having my phone number?" He asked, confused about why she was so angry. He brushed her comment aside. Besides, he rarely gave out business cards and only a handful of people had his personal number.

"You have mine and I have yours, I think that’s a good deal." He added on, completely shameless — refusing to acknowledge the big problem at hand.

Rosé Yang was completely speechless by how shameless he could be. Was this even the multi-billionaire that swept the country by storm? Was this even Park Jimin?!

"I’m deleting your number." She fumed, getting irked and annoyed by his behavior.

Park Jimin turned serious. "Why?" He asked, the warmth in his voice immediately disappeared.

Zhao Lifei could practically feel the arctic air come through her phone. "You don’t have to know why." She childishly said, hanging up and placing her phone on do not disturb.

She was slightly glad when Park Jimin wasn’t able to call her back. For once, she could finally relax without him being pushy.

Turning on her laptop, she began to browse through her emails. The first one that popped up was one from Min Jennie. ’Oh right! How could I forget about her?’ She thought to herself, quickly opening the email.

There were two attachments sent with it. One was a video of the van hitting Park Jimin's car, and the other was the license plate along with the location it was traced back to.

Rosé Yang didn’t know how to handle the information. Was she supposed to send it to Lalisa Park?

She didn’t want her to get into trouble, especially when Lalisa Park was known to act on impulse. She knew her Lisa would become reckless and get into trouble if she tried to pursue the assassins herself.

Besides, if they were so good at covering their tracks to the point where it would take Min Jennie three days to send her information, she knew they were extremely dangerous.

After thinking for a while, Rosé Yang finally thought of a perfect plan.

Park Jimin hadn’t sent her a new gift yet, which meant she was winning the gift war. Wanting to be ahead of him by two gifts, she thought about sending the files to him to save him the time and resources of digging into the people that tried to kill him.
