Cha Eunwoo tried his best to not be distracted by their close proximity, but that was becoming increasingly difficult when their fingers almost brushed against each other as she reached for the computer mouse.
He swallowed hard, before stating, "Axion Technology stock is on the rise and there have been many investors looking into the company ever since their newly announced program for high schoolers to prevent stress. It would be a good company to invest in—"
"Their stocks will drop."
"Why?"
"The program is very idealistic, but who's to say those high schoolers will even look at the program with their heads buried in books to study for their college entrance exams? Stress is a big factor in our current education system, but with the rise of tiger parents, they see it as normal behavior when pushing their child into the best colleges."
Cha Eunwoo blinked. He never thought about that. He, himself, had looked at the colorless and bland program, believing it was quite idealistic with the calming images, words of encouragement, and mini-games to play.
"Furthermore, the program is not selling for much too. We won't gain that much profit from it."
"Then what about Pegasus Express? It's a new company promising one-day delivery faster than the other ones—"
"95% of their deliveries came from one major platform with their own investments, ruling out about 80% of their shares. The remaining 10% was bought out by the smaller branches of the same platform."
Cha Eunwoo incredulously stared at her, figuring out her game plan. "Then should we invest in Wang Real Estate Company, their stocks are on the drop, and let me guess, you see potential—ow!" She whacked him with a notebook.
"Don't sass me." She rolled her eyes. "That's not my gameplan, stupid." She shook her head, scrolling down.
"Feili is not a charity case. Just because Wang Real Estate Company's stock is dropping and there's potential in it rising again, does not mean I recommend investing in it." She muttered, her eyes lighting up when she saw it.
LLP Designs was steadily on the rise and she knew, without a doubt, once their new clothing line was pushed out in a few weeks, it would boost their stocks like crazy. The only reason they had not been propelled to extremes was because Lalisa Park was too bombarded with her modeling career to properly release a new line aside from the small sprinkles here and there.
"Buy shares from LLP Designs. Reach out to them." Rosè Yang knew she had a slight bias and upper hand here by being an acquaintance of Lalisa Park, but in this dog eat dog world, she had to do everything to ensure survival.
Lalisa Park had unlimited wealth, but she was too stubborn to use it on her own company because the money she had was mainly from her parents. Lisa was a tough cookie. She did not want to solely rely on her parents which was why she even pursued a modeling career in the first place.
"Isn't this the brand of your friend—"
"Regardless if it is, LLP Designs will succeed." She didn't say it on the basis of complimenting Lalisa Park, for the woman was not even present!
Rosè Yang genuinely believed the company's sales would skyrocket, given the fact that their designs were worn at the highly publicized banquet of South Korea. The images were all plastered on the media and even now, many people were still discussing it, in particular, the golden dress she had sported.
"You baby her too much." Cha Eunwoo chuckled before writing down LLP on his notepad as well as a few others that she was beginning to list out. The more he wrote out, the less he began to question her decision. It was usually right and the outcomes were phenomenal.
Afterward, Rosè Yang went back to checking papers, preparing for the meeting with Park Enterprise, and it wasn't long before the sun disappeared behind the clouds, making way for the moon. Nightfall had come and she knew it was time to go home, but where was home?
She stared out the window, a glum expression on her face when she thought about Park Jimin. He was most likely at his office right now...with Kang Seulgi. She scowled when the pretty face of the secretary popped up in her mind. She did not forget her grandfather's words. Park Jimin had defended Kang Seulgi in her presence, given she was asleep, but he still did so.
Fine.
If he didn't want to dispose of her because she was so useful, she was willing to play into this little game of his. Tomorrow, she would walk into the meeting, armed with Cha Eunwoo and Jeon Jungkook at her call.
Hmph, let's see how he would react to that!

After bidding Cha Eunwoo a good night and finding his longing expression puzzling, Rosè Yang walked into the parking lot basement and got into her car. Once inside and ensuring the door was locked, she called Park Jimin who picked up on the last ring.
There was a slight noise in the background before he spoke up, "Are you going home now?"
"Yeah, are you?"
Kim Namjoon clicked his pen, twirling it with his fingers as he impatiently waited for his boss to get off the phone.
His personal team was gathered in the private and soundproof meeting room to discuss the last-minute plans with RY who miraculously accepted their offer this morning. They didn't expect the date to be set early in the morning and the entire team was working very hard to ensure everything was perfectly drafted and completed.
"I will be heading home late tonight. Eat dinner first, don't wait for me."
Kim Namjoon was actually very pleased to see his boss was staying behind instead of heading home to entertain that woman. He was also happy to know his persistence had paid off in the end. While they were in a battle in getting RY to accept their offer for a private meeting, their value had significantly increased and when he checked a few hours ago. It seemed they had invested in a few stocks, some of them did not seem promising, but a few did.
He wondered what the CEO was thinking until he checked it again and found his jaw dropping to the floor. The less promising ones were actually the ones whose value drastically increased.
Kang Seulgi was also astonished by the turn of events, for the few companies that she recommended were failures. She let her confidence in the market get the best of her and only checked the surface of the companies without looking too much into it.
She had gotten a thorough scolding by Kim Namjoon as well as the other members of President Park's private team, but compared to the earful that other people got, hers was not surprisingly, very lenient.
She didn't get any punishment as others would and this realization made her feel giddy inside. While she worked on the presentation, she constantly snuck secretive glances towards her boss, a tiny smile on her face.
Rosè Yang felt her dampened mood decrease further. It was already seven at night, yet he was still working? Lord knows what this workaholic was thinking!
"Are you in a meeting?"
"Yes."
"When will it end?"
"Not for a while."
Rosè Yang's shoulders sagged in disappointment. What happened to returning earlier from work? What happened to keeping her company?
Kim Namjoon sighed, checking the time. It was getting late now and he preferred to quickly finish this meeting so that he could go home. He was forced to stay behind later every night and could only leave once all of the other employees did. It placed a strain on his body and his relationship with his wife who was giving him the silent treatment.
Tonight, Park Jimin had told everyone to go home earlier than usual and all of the employees were more than happy to oblige the command.
Kang Seulgi proofread and edited the slides, placing the finishing touches on it before she finally relaxed in her chair and said, "President Park, the presentation is finished."
Rosè Yang's eyes sharpened at the voice. Kang Seulgi was with him?!
