"We need a ride."

It was a few hours after April had been to Erik Sacks Estate. In merely a few hours, the brunette had discovered much about the man, her past, her father, and the turtles that she had saved.

But, just as quickly as she found them, they were taken away from her. Shredder's men had taken away three of the turtles and had badly injured Master Splinter. The remaining ones in the sewer were now April, Raph, and Master Splinter. The turtle had to go and save his brothers and of course, April was prepared to help him.

...

"O'Neil!"

Vernon answered the call, standing in his kitchen.

"Look, Vern, I need you to meet me at Cortlandt Alley in 10 minutes, please."

"Wait, why?" He asked, his smile never fading.

"I can't talk to you about it on the phone. Just promise you're gonna be there."

"What do you mean you can't talk about--- You called--" he goes to say but hears the call get cut. He looks at the phone, rather baffled. "Me.."

He put his phone down on the counter and got back to his sandwich.

"Alright, want me to meet you, right now?" He glanced back at the phone. "I'll play your little game."

"Hello-?"

"Kid, hi! Sorry, I have to call you like this.

Y/N was in bed, having just woken up from her slumber by the phone call. It was a great day. School was closed for the day and all. Her room felt cool and cozy and she was sitting in bed, under her blanket with no one to bother her but then..

"The turtles were taken, I need your help!"

Despite ditching the turtles yesterday, one word on them was enough to send her into a frenzy.

"Taken!??" She yelled out, eyes wide.

"Yes!"

"They're dating...who are the girls!??!" She covered her mouth, utterly shocked at the information.

She didn't know why but a part of her died upon hearing that. She felt hurt, betrayed, and left out. Why wasn't she told of this before?

"What-? No-- the turtles were taken by the foot clan!"

"Oh, well, that's a reli---" Y/N sighed before abruptly stopping. "Sorry!??" She yelled out, jumping off her bed.

"I know it's dangerous but, could you please meet me at Sacks Estate-- I know it's pretty far and a---"

"I'll see you the---" Y/N goes to say before hearing the voice of a man.

"That's what I'm talking about, O'Neil. The sacks estate with the vigilante---What!?"

"Drive."

"You're a talking turtle."

"Yeah, yeah, I'm a talking turtle...and you're a human nerd. Now that we've got that out of the way, hit it!"

The teen blinked in confusion at the familiar voice. "Red?" She mumbled.

"What? You coming?"

"Oh my god! Monty, my dude! You're okay! Yeah, I'll be there! And drive, human nerd!" She ordered the man that she hardly knew.
