Trixie's Pov
At times it felt like we weren't getting anywhere. We had a few sentences translated and it just seemed all jumbled together, something about across the panda and the American. Steve and Dustin seemed to think they had the whole thing figured out, while Robin was lost in thought after the long shift today.

"The whole time you were focused on the melody in the background Steve we barely got anything right today." My mind was jumbled for a moment with scents and sounds all about.  Before a little thought occurred to me. I stepped between the two while Robin was muttering walking ahead quick like chewing at her nails. I grabbed at Steve's wrist making him get quiet suddenly.

"Wait Steve you kept talking about the background music underneath the speech yeah?" He nodded his head at me a few times, the confusion still across his eyes.

"Doesn't it sound familiar? Like here at mall. I work at the JC Penny's but what I am trying to say is on the lower floor. You know." I gestured watching the way his eyes flicked back and forth for a moment in time before he was looking back at me quick like.

"The horse ride! I knew it sounded familiar oh you are a genius." I laughed suddenly in shock when he cupped at the side of my face, playfully speaking while looking in my eyes.

"Good job Alpha." I sent him a playful look in return, gently grabbing his hands to move away.

"Careful there omega." A quiet sound left from his lips, not before he was jogging over to Dustin exclaiming at the young kid about the rocking horse machine dragging him off.

"Trixie! Can you come here a second?" I almost jumped in place at the sight of my name. I pressed my palms to my neck jogging after the girl in the sailor uniform as she was leaning over the railing with a knowing look across her face.

"You know how the message said the American across the panda like Chinese right?" I missed at her a couple times nibbling at my own lip. She turned my arm around to gesture to the Chinese restaurant across the way.

"That message came from here in the mall, that's why Steve kept talking about the music in the background its coming from underground." It was my turn to stare at her in surprise grabbing at her arms. A loose sounding whine left from my lips.

"I knew this big mall out here was suspicious all the jobs lost... Dear lord." She smiled my way before spinning around a few times in confusion.

"Where's Steve and Dustin." It was my turn to lean my arms over the high railing before it hit me. I tapped my fingers over the metal bar quick like.

"Oh he dragged him over to the machine ride to prove his point." The faint smile stayed on my face, raising my fingers to my lip curious like. Robin and Steve were oddly close? Of course they worked together and still again why did I even care. All this time working together I could just see the goofiness through everyone we were all idiots in the making

"Are you sure you should be letting the little kid climb through the vents. Let me do it instead?" I gestured worried for the concern of everyone in this party. Steve had turned around casually placing his hands over his hips, speaking the concern for me and Robin.

"Oh he's got some disease, it's cardo- something I don't know he's missing bones or something he can bend like gumbo." The softest snicker left from my lips finding my mouth being covered by the sleeve of my large jacket muttering loosely, so no one could hear.

"Gosh you are so cute." I muttered to myself, how was he is the most popular guy in school? He was such a dork, he's everything anyone could want.

"You mean Gumby?" Robin stated out like it was the most obvious thing. Steve tilted his head a bit before he was shaking his head quick like.

"I'm pretty sure it's gumbo." Dustin exclaimed out with a hard grunt whining about. "Would you shut up and fucking push me?!" Steve rolled his eyes holding his hands up in surrender before he was climbing up the ladders to help him. That obviously wasn't helping the situation with a little help Dustin was back on the ground level with us.

It was now everyone's turn to look towards me. "Wanna try now?" I coughed out my laugh waving my hand a few times away from my mouth.

"No you guys had that chance. You need someone smaller than Dustin like a actually little kid not a preteen." Dustin seemed to be in thought before he was grinning quickly running out leaving us all in confusion.

"Alright as much as our adventures keeps me up, I gotta head to work. Stay out of trouble." I taunted making the I see you motion with my hands, I walked around the back room before scooping up my bag giving the two quick hugs, and goodbyes making my way to leave the ice cream shop.

"You can't spell America without Erica." I grinned a little at the sassy remarked I heard coming from the side of the tables.
I liked her attitude.
