❝ i'd like to hang out with you for my whole life. ❞

I wake up earlier than usual today. Pretty obvious why, I think. Isabel admitted to liking me back. And we kissed.

I love that girl. We just started dating last night, we're not even in a relationship yet, I'm not going to freak her out by telling her I'm in love with her right away.

I put on random clothes and rush down to the Starbucks down the street. I order a coffee for Isabel, some random drink for me and a croissant for each of us.

The nice barista that has been serving me from the beginning of the trip, hands me my order and I smile politely before rushing back up.

I text Isabel to make sure she's awake. I'm not going to wake her up by ringing the doorbell if she isn't.

are u up?

yup

I ring her doorbell once I have the green light that she's awake. I hear Pablito — that's the nickname she gave to the dog so there wouldn't be any confusion between the two of us — bark.

The door opens not even half a second after Pablito's first bark.

"Hi." My girl greets me, still in her pajamas and messed up hair.

"Hi back." I smile at the sight of her. I bend a little to kiss her but she doesn't let me.

"Morning breath." She explains.

"I don't care." I just want to kiss her because I finally have the chance to do it whenever I want — with her consent, of course.

I've been dreaming about Isabel and I getting together ever since I was a little kid. And that dream finally became true. My only dream left is winning the World Cup. Hopefully, this is my year.

"I do." She says motioning for me to come in and so I do and close the door behind me.

She excuses herself for two minutes letting me pet Pablito and exactly two minutes later she comes back out from the toilet.

"Now I can say a proper good morning." She smiles sitting next to me and Pablito on her bed.

She gives me a quick kiss and pulls back but stays super close to me. "Morning." She grins like an idiot and I love it.

"Good morning." I smile back handing her coffee and croissant.

I take my drink in my hands and the color of it gets her grossed out. "What's that?!" She asks looking at the green drink.

"I have no idea, but the barista said it's the healthiest." I answer before taking a sip out of it and it's actually not that bad. Not that good either.

"Poor you." She pities me before drinking her coffee.

We eat in silence but it's not an awkward one. Every minute though, one of us lets out a laugh. I think we're both still processing the fact of us.

Once we're both done, I grab the garbage and throw them in the trash.

I walk back to the bed where Isabel stood up from. She's staring at me so I stare back.

"I'm sorry this is too funny." She breaks down laughing.

"What's funny?" I ask, also kind of laughing because her laugh is contagious.

"This." She points between the two of us, holding in another laugh. "Us."

"Why's it funny?" I ask, also hiding my smile once again. I have no idea what's going on but she laughs again making me laugh along with her.

"Because..." She starts trying to find the right words. "You and I. I've hated you most my life. Now, I don't know...We're dating?" She hesitates with the last two words.

"Okay. Maybe it is a little funny." I admit, stepping closer to her. "Is this funny?" I ask her and before she can ask what I mean, I take her hands in mine and kiss her.

Not like that previous tiny kiss. I actually kiss her. She moans into my mouth sending butterflies in my stomach.

"I like the taste of your lips on mine." I break away from the kiss, our faces only inches away from each other.

"Don't separate them, then." She mumbles, bringing her hands up to my face and pulling me into her. I wish I could just stay here with her all day and kiss her, unfortunately I have a world cup to win.

"Bonito," I speak, still kissing her because I can't bring myself to pull away anymore. "Bonito," I repeat and she mumbles yes into my mouth but completely ignores me.

I have to pull away or I'll be late and so I do. "I have to go." I speak up the second our lips part.

"Why?" She nags, looking at my lips rather than my eyes making it ten times harder for me not to kiss her again.

"I have to train." I answer.

"I'll train you, just stay." She says making me chuckle at her words. "I'm serious. Look at last week, I was voted better than Pedri. I can train you." She continues.

"Come with me." I suggest, stepping away to not be tempted to kiss her again.

"I can't." She refuses. "I'm meeting with my manager." She sights laying down on her bed.

"How bout dinner? First date?" She sits up on the bed smiling excitedly at my words.

"Okay." She accepts and Pablito rushes over to her lap and she starts caressing him.

"I'll see you at seven then." I smile giving her one last tiny kiss before heading out. I'm so lucky.
