This is a recently written book.

This is a read alone book about an African girl who moves to new place and meets new friends in a new city.

She joins a women club where she becomes friends with Brytal,Karie, Deringue and some farmer's wife.

Deringue........ married to Drital, mother to two teenage twins;boy and a girl just turned 16.

She dried herself with a thin towel. Steam rose from her recent bath in the bathroom. It made thin wisps in the low light.She gingerly stepped from the shower and put on some slippers and went to her room.

As she walked to her room soft snores emanated from her brother's room which was opposite hers along a corridor. A small cry from her small sister's room. Maybe she was dreaming. She was the only one awake at this hour. It was past eleven o'clock. She had stayed up late doing some late minute packing.

She shivered as she entered the room. It had rained earlier in the evening and cold wind blew through the open window. She crossed room and closed it .

She donned her night ware and got into bed. She thought of her parents. They were probably asleep in an upstairs bedroom. She would miss them. They had encouraged her to take the job in the Kmita town. A small town but bigger than theirs. She would help them some. Both her siblings were still in school.

Tomorrow she was going to Kmita town to start a new job. She had passed the interview and had been invited. The last thought on her mind was the smooth coffee beans and their earthy scent.
