There's a reason it drove the Evil Queen to mad arrogance. It's a spell. With her words alone, Evie has the power to magically influence people without them even realizing it. Only truly strong-willed individuals can withstand her persuasion magic, but those seem to be few and far between.
Personality : Evie she's sassy, clever, intelligent, cunning, opportunist, sly, seductive (when it comes to boys) charming, nice, bipolar, flirtatious, vain. Can be quite a controlling person because of this ability of hers, and she will do what she has to in order to stay on top. Mixed with the fierce attachments she can make to others, this can be a scary combination.
But she's also an huge introvert. It isn't like she doesn't like people, she just like them more when she's not near them. She always tries to be invisible when she's in a group and she avoids making contact with individuals. She can sometimes be sarcastic and honest with people. That's why she doesn't make friends easily.

She likes to insist that it's not spying, but that's exactly what it is. she can connect to it, as long as she's touching the surface of a mirror. Then, she can gaze into it and look through other mirrors all around the campus. This is why she can often be found wandering the school, because she's checking different mirrors. Despite the fact that Evie is often spilling everybody's secrets, Evie herself is a carefully guarded and secretive individual.
Because of her ability of seeing through mirrors/water, Evie is always up-to-date with the latest gossip and news. And she's knows plenty of peoples' secrets. She's the sort to quote Shakespeare either ominously or randomly, or perhaps even both at the same time. Evie does such things because she doesn't want to face her own "demons", so to speak. When she's too busy dwelling on others' secrets and problems, then she's too busy to dwell and drown in her own. It's a strange, and twisted, coping and defense mechanism that she's built up for herself over the years. No one's secrets are safe from Evie - not for long, anyways.
School reputation : Evie has a reputation at school for having eyes and ears all over the school, but no one has figured out how she does it - and she would prefer to keep it that way.

Mirror/water
Evie has the ability to connect to the Mirror Realm/water as long as she touches the surface of a mirror. She can gaze into it and look through other mirrors all around the campus. This is why she can often be found wandering the school, because she's checking different mirrors. Evie always has a mirror or two on hand just in case she needs to "check in". And be able to look through all mirrors from any place and at any time.

Spoken Words
Evie's other magic lies in spoken words of spells, evocation, and incantations. Evie is extremely persuasive and can magically influence others with her honeyed voice alone. She can compel people to tell her things or do something, even against their will. Those with strong hearts and wills are able to resist her magic if they try hard enough, but oftentimes it ends up being too late once they've realized what's happening.
Dark Magic
Aside from her most prominent magical abilities, Evie is also able to perform dark magic. Her magic aura manifests itself as midnight blue "flames". Some of her spells include being able to levitate things and people, cause things to decay and crumble, and stun and stupefy others.
