Once Upon a Time

Chapter 1

~ Evie pov ~

We arrived at Ramshackle's ruined and completely messy dorm.

Yuu : "Uh, you want me to stay... here?"

Crowley: " Isn't it delightful? Right, scoot inside now. There you go."

Evie: "I've seen warehouses much tidier than this"

Crowley: " This should keep the elements at bay for the time being.
Now, I should return to my research. Do try to find some way to busy yourself.
But don't let me catch you wandering the campus! Ta! "

Yuu : "I don't even see a clean place to sit."

Crowley: "Evie helped him clean up a bit"

As soon as the professor left the dorm I turned to Yuu. 

Evie : " listen sir I come from another universe and I do everything up and down. I already have a lot of responsibilities, I'm a dorm leader, which means I have to manage a bunch of people who are constantly causing trouble. I'm a queen in a place too far from here and I constantly have  stressing about what to do and all the things that are pending while I'm gone I have to study to do well on my exams and pass my last class here and the last thing I want is to have to babysit someone  that just appeared out of nowhere, so I call it what I want is for you not to cause me any trouble. Am I understood?"  I asked.

Yuu nodded his head, a drop of sweat rolling down his face.  "good, now let's clean up this mess so I can go back to my dorm" I said.

With a snap of my fingers I made three brooms appear and set them to sweeping.  Then I brought out a cloth and a mop.  "I take care of the mopping, you dust the furniture" I said.  Yuu was looking at me in surprise.

I walked into the living room and started mopping.  Yuu followed behind me.  "wow, how did you do that? or basically let me guess, magic. Can you do other things like that? can you turn a prince into a frog? or become a large dragon that breathes flames? or poison food?"  he was asking me.  " i can transform people, yes and why the hell would i poison some food? but yes i can" i replied.

The rest of the hour was spent with Yuu asking me questions to which I simply answered in one word while we cleaned up.  "You're not very talkative, are you?"  he asked me.  "or you are too talkative" I replied.  He let out a dry laugh, it was more because of the awkward situation.

Suddenly the door opened.

Grim: " GWAH! It's pouring out there!

Evie & Yuu : Wah!

Grim:  "Bwahaha! That look on your face is priceless! Like a bat that got blasted by a water gun.
As if I wouldn't just sneak back onto campus the second I escaped pryin' eyes. You all got no idea what I'm capable of!
I ain't givin' up on goin' here just 'cause I got kicked out one measly ol' time. And if you think otherwise, you don't know Grim!"

My broom walked over to Grim and started pushing him to get him out.

Grim: "Wah! hey! bad broomstick! Bad!"

Evie : Listen!  I told Yuu before, I'll tell you too.  I have a lot of things to do and the last thing I need is babysitting a stupid cat and a boy who appeared out of nowhere.  So, I'll be as simple as I can.  Cause any trouble or commotion and I'll let the hounds dogs eat you!  "

Grim : " Y-yes ma'am!"

Evie : "Now, either you help clean up, or I'm going to throw you out into the rain"

Grim : "Yes ma'am!"

Yuu : "Why are you so determined to go to this school?"

Grim:  " I was born to do this! I'm a magical prodigy who's got the makin's to become one of the greatest mages who ever lived!
So I've been waitin' and waitin' for that black carriage to come for me.
And yet...
Hrmph! That Dark Mirror's got no eye for talent! "
