Chapter 3

Previously on the blue mask.

Harumi and Vania are told, that they from now on will have to start their training to be rulers even though the girls don't feel ready to.
Meanwhile in the monastery Kai still overthinks everything that has happened years ago like I was yesterday, after his parents left. He isn't the only one

"Ninja." Sensei Wu marched into the room like a soldier "I have a mission for you all." He turns on the projector who is then showing a picture of Chen.
"This is Master Chen. An evil Villain that uses a noodle restaurant as disguise for his evil plans. We don't know what they are, but we know someone who may do."

Then he switched pictures to a beautiful girl with cherry red hair and captivating hazel eyes. Especially for Kai.

"This is Skylor Chen. His daughter. Fortunately she lives here in ninjago city, near Chen noodlehouse. I want you to capture her and bring her here for questioning about her father's evil plan. You will go tonight when it's dark to not attract too much attention."

They all nod and then go and pack some things that they could use, like ropes Katanas and so on.

Later that day the Ninja go to the bounty and take off.

Kai's POV

While Zane is flying the bounty, Lloyd, Jay and Cole are coming up with a plan in case this Skylor is prepared for our visit.

Me on the other hand, I am on the deck dreamingly thinking about Skylor. The soft looming hair and not to mention those eyes. Suddenly I snap out of my Daydream when in hear Cole behind me.

"Kai. Kai?. Earth to Kaii."
"Huh. What happened. Did I miss something."
"Uhh, duh. You missed the whole plan, Kai. I was looking for you. Speaking of which, what are you doing here?"
"Uh, uhhh... I waaas uh... Tanning yeah, that what I was doing."
"It's night, Kai. The sun just went down. Oh anyways we came up for a plan. You have to come see."

I walk to the bridge where everybody is waiting for me.
"Okay guys. Let's go over the plan one more time..." Lloyd explaines the plan.
When he is done Zane speaks up.

"We have arrived at our destination."

"Uhh- Zane this isn't our dEsTiNaTiOn." He remarked imitating Zane.

"I know, but we have to stay out of sight for the plan to work. Or do you wanna get caught before we even get the chance to talk to Skylor?" Zane asks sarcastically.
Me heart flutters at the sound of her name. Why do I feel like this. I don't even know her.
Jay just rolls his eyes and puts his hood on.

We then also put on our hoods and go to our positions just like we planned (I feel like I'm using the word 'plan' to much)

When I saw her I was mesmerized. She was even prettier in real life

Skylor's POV

It hasn't been long since those girls left, but It was getting late. So after the last customers had left my dad told me to close the restaurant.

I noticed he didn't talk to me as much as he used to, but It didn't bother me since I am an adult and live alone anyway. So I closed the shop and went home.
I don't live far away but I still don't like going home so late especially in the district I live in.

When j arrived home I heard weird noise above me. They were coming from the roof so I went to the window and looked up but saw nothing (duh they're Ninja)
I decided I was being paranoid and should just go to bed until a guys in a red pyjama looking suit crashed into my window, causing glass to shatter all over my bedroom.

One of the shards landed in my foot and I fell to the ground in pain

Then a silver guys with a deep, robotic voice spoke up: "guys, we are not here to hurt her. Just interrogation."

"Not hurt me- YOU ALREADY DID."
Then I felt a sharp pain in my arm and everything went dark.

I woke up tied to a chair in a grey and empty room. The room was big and kinda stank ( reference: garbage depot season 9). I tried to look around a little and saw that my foot was bandaged. I continued looking and saw the same Ninja that broke into my apartment standing in the corner, talking about something I couldn't hear.

"Bleugh, Is this where you guys live. Could sure use a glow." I say showing the Ninja that I am awake.

"Finally, you are awake. We waited for centuries. And NO, NO WE DO NOT LIVE HERE" I hear a goofy voice scream from a guy in a blue pyjama.

"Shut it Jay! We have some questions for you." The red guy said in a serious voice. At first I felt intimidated. But then he approached me slowly removing his hood.

Our eyes met, and I was struck by the intensity of his gaze. I was mesmerized by his chocolate brown eyes patiently waiting for him to talk to me so i could heat hos voice again. For a moment, he just stood there, locking me in a silent exchange that sent shivers down my spine.

Eventually, the Ninja broke the gaze, turning to his colleagues for a moment but then turning back to me. My heart was racing. I was the type of person to never get nervous. My father told me and sk did my friends. So why I nervous now? because of a...guy? (I was stressed while writing this please)

Another teammate of him came. This one was green. These people were really creative but I was still genuinely confused on what was going on. Where they gonna ask questions or not?

"So your father... master Chen..." the red guy said

"Mister Chen. My father is mister Chen."

"She doesn't seem to know." Says the green one

"I don't know she could be acting too." I heard I female voice say

"KNOW WHAT??"

"Drop the act. What is your father planning ?"

All of the sudden all the Ninja were surrounding me trying to get the answer to a question I did not know.

"My father literally sells noodles- wha- CAN SOMEONE UNTIE ME ?"

"Let her go. She doesn't know anything." There was the scary robot again.

"Know Whaaat?" At this point I was sick and tired of asking

"Come, we'll tell you on the way to your apartment."

"Are you guys paying for my window to"

"Uhhh..."
"Maybeee?"
"Meh"
"Not really hehe"
"No"
Welp I guess I'll be sueing

Kind-of weird chapter but I'm still trying around with the emotion thingy
