Part 3: What?

Just a small warning this chapter shows ignorance of someone's phobia, and this is where it gets kinda gory. Just a small warning.

Uni's pov:

When I finally woke up I was inside Moon's confusing mind. I hated having to figure out how to leave alone, "but that's what happens with not fully developed Shadows" according the boss. I hate it, but that's what it is for me. There's string and brown bags everywhere. I still don't know what it means, and he refuses to tell me.

I eventually make it out and see Moon waking up, but he has wires stuck to him? There are 4 on his back and one on each leg all connecting to the same pad thingy in the wall. I think it's called a circuit board or something like it. I'm not good with computers and stuff like that. I look closer and see another wire on his arm holding it up. 

I want to touch it.

I walk closer to it and almost touch it when moon wakes up. I hide in a box next to him and watch, but I don't really know why. He's wearing his mask, but he shouldn't have received it until he went onto and completed his first mission. His mask is electrical and shows his emotions, he shouldn't have received that type of mask until he was at 100 entire missions. This is all suspicious.

I hear a loud *CLACK* followed by a few hissing noises. They were connected to his skin. The wires had Shadow blood, and I could see what looked like bone. It looked like it would be unbearably painful, but he didn't even flinch. It was almost like I was hallucinating, but it was too realistic to be a hallucination.

I noticed moon was staring at something, but i couldn't tell what it was. My eyes weren't processing it? I heard boss' voice, it was unclear, but I think he said something along the lines of "Moon! You're awake!" And it suddenly became clear. Da- er boss was in front of moon holding out his arms as if he wanted Moon to hug him? 

I got out of the box cautiously, pa- BOSS being there meant we were safe. I got out of the box and noticed something disturbing. There was severed limbs inside the box. They didn't have any clothing on them than signified who they were, only a few scars and that they were all cut clean off. No struggle, not even slight movement. The blood was Shadow blood, everyone could tell. Shadows blood is a dark red, purple, and even blue, on rare occasion. It's similar to oil, but the slight tint gives it away, blue just makes it harder to notice.

I wiped the blood onto my leg until you couldn't tell it came from another Shadow. Mixing it in with my goop felt horrible. It felt like I was the one who had done it, but I had to. Papa would be so disappointed if he found out I hid from Moon. I wanted to stop it felt so wrong, but I didn't. It had eventually merged with the other goop onto my clothing, only slightly brighter, with the patch being more of a dark cyan than dark blue.

I looked over to see Moon and papa hugging as if they hadn't seen each other in forever. Boss specifically looked like he hadn't seen Moon in years.  He was even crying. It made me mad, we never even hugged like that before. But I just stood there. I walked behind Moon and waited for the two to stop. 

"Hello dummy" I said leaning in over his shoulder, careful not to touch him. He screamed out and attempted to slap me. I sorta dodged, but his fingers kinda hit my goop. I wanted to scream, but I didn't. I calmed myself down and left the room and walked down the hall. 

I walked down the hall, and passed C. Don't know why he's called that, he doesn't even C anything important, he's all fight no strategy.

"Hey lil guy!" He said to me.

"Shut up C!" I yelled it came out more hurt than intended.

"What I do!?" He yelled out but I ignored him.
