Familiar faces
I jolted awake the pain in my head was still there just not too much. Words floated around my eyes as I tried to make out where I was. It was mostly blocked by some sort of message except for a sign. It had.....Hiragana? I didn't know Mr. Voice knew or was even interest in Japanese. Wait no it's English why did I think that it said:どうそよろしく!or nice to meet you in Japanese. It actually said: Living room. I think I have been reading too much manga cause I have no idea where I got that from.
I sat up realizing I was lying on a bean bag. The song ±0 is stuck in my head for some reason. AAAAAAAAA why do I have such a good yet dark song stuck in my head!? Slapped my head to get it out but then I just had "The Chattering Lack of Common Sense" stuck in my head. Oh well that's less dark. AAAAAAAA I'm off topic again dang it.
Anyways I decided to inspect the sign a little more while not standing up. It said in very small words that my half blind eyes where barely able to make out, "not like anyone else is here." Mr. Voice must be lonely. But I shall keep him company once I find him!
I calmed down a little bit. The pain was now gone and I could see without the annoying messages. I got up and saw a dark purple couch in front of a tv. The couch looked like it has faded a little bit and could be mistaken for grey if it faded anymore. The rug had a very creative design with what looked to be stars and planets, but that could just be my space nerd showing. I got up from the bean bag it was a purplish color and next to it was a blue one. The blue one had a chocolate wrapper on it, but I couldn't exactly read what it said. I could only understand that it was/used to be chocolate. There was a few spare strings by the blue one, it matched the beanbag and I felt a random urge to touch the strings, but something told me not to.
I sat up taking in a good view of the area. It looked pretty fancy, the walls where a very pretty purple mixed with cyan that brought everything together. The dim lights on the ceiling illuminated the door and a small area around me. I saw a few paintings but one caught my eye. It was a skeleton wearing a blue....I don't really know how to explain it, but it looked liked a suit and a tee shirt mixed together! They had a yellow cape, but their face was torn. I mean literally, there was a hole in the painting and I think the wall got damaged too since it looked like I could get a splinter just from touching it.
I stood up being careful of the area around me. My legs felt kinda sore, like I was forced run a mile within 6 minutes or else I would fail P.E, sore. I shakily walked up to the door but to my surprise it opened. I jumped a little at the fact that the door fling open inches away from my face.
"I told you Nightmare!" A dark skeleton with blue strings coming from their eyes said while they put their fingers towards their eye sockets in a annoyed tone. I was nervous so I just walked out of the way and hid behind the door. "I don't know why they crashed!" They yelled to Mr. Voice, throwing their arms out as he walked into the room. "Look! Just leave them alone and eventually they will finish rebooting!" The skeleton said as he pointed to the beanbag I was on. Mr. Voice or should I say Mr. Nightmare looked scared when he noticed I wasn't there. I decided to take this as an opportunity to surprise him.
While the other skeleton looked to see why Mr. Nightmare was so scared I sneaked up on him and hugged him. Mr. Nightmare jumped at me suddenly hugging him. Nightmare looked at me, relief in his eyes. I smiled at him before he patted my head. The other slightly shorter one looked at Nightmare before looking at me. "Oh now I get why you are so close to this anomaly," They chuckled. "D-Dadmare." They said between laughter.
Mr. Nightmare looked kinda annoyed at the shorter one. I think it was a death stare, but he looked like a cute angry kitten to me. "Out of everyone in the whole dang multiverse I never would have thought you would adopt a child!" The smaller skeleton bursted out into laughter. I looked at them kinda confused. They held their face as they plopped down into the blue bean bag, continuing to laugh in disbelief.
